A: Over half, I know that much. If you search online you sohuld be able to download a save-file for the really bad ending which will tell you.

B: Bulletproof only stops bullets. You can still fall, get crushed, get eaten, blow up, etc. If you're trying to enter it as a cheat, I think it's only a joke. I know PS version had a code cheat for it, but PC seems to only have "kill lotsa Muds"

A: If you ignore them, I belive they die. Exactly 97, if so. If not, that's a toughy.
B: The bullet proof vest is a option in the game, that can only be accessed from the really bad ending in AE. It causes all bullets not to effect you.

But when i got the bad ending it didn't give me the option of bullet proof vest.
Do you have to kill a number of slaves?

It auto-activates when you get the "you killed over half" ending... at least it should.

I think it only happens when you kill all the muds.

Rephrase: kill all the muds you are able to and still finish the game.

A: Over 86. A more definite answer? More like 98. I haven't tried that yet, though.

In AO:
You can kill 97 mudokons. To finish the game, you MUST save:
-The mudokon at the entrance to Rupture Farms part 2 (near the Bring us to the Birds Save us All message)
-The last mudokon in the game, just above the boardrooms, so you can use shrykull on the glukkons.
Also, the only mudokons that die if you ignore them are the 28 from the Rupture Farms Escape.

For bullet proof vest ... I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you've got a faulty game.

Actually, I'm starting to think that in AO, you could prevent yourself from saving the board room mudokon, and still be able to get to the ending. I think, I just heard.

You can just get the level select code and go to the ending. Then it would say that you didn't save anyone.

No you cannot kill 97 in AO because there are some that you can't get to and therefore kill same in AE

Oh ... shit. I thought about it ajd remembered you're right.
See, I said you can kill 97 because you have to save 2 of them, so I came to the idea that you can kill 97 without actually thinking about it.
My bad. Sorry.

If it's a faulty game, then there seems to be a lot of people who have them. I have the same problem, I get the message about the bullet proof vest but still get shot easily. And I've seen many people with the PC version having the same troubles. Solution? I have no idea

And yes, Slaveless is right, you don't need to save the boardroom mudokon. If you just leave him alone and drop down into the boardroom, step right, and pull the switch, you get shot, but the ending plays anyway.

Just a question. The mudokons in the secrets of Scrabania and Paramonia, can all of them be killed? Or, if you ignore them, can attain that they all were killed?

In Paramonia the Muds are in a walled enclave with no dangers so no.
In Scrabania 1 yes, the slig can kill them when you possess him
In Scrabania 2 yes, you can walk the mud off the ledge
In Scrabania 3 I don't think so

I'm not sure exactly how many you need to kill, but if I remember correctly I killed something like 50-60 of them and got the infinite grenades bonus, so it's not THAT hard to get. But I don't know if I got as many as possible, I just know I got enough.

Why do you want to be bullet proof in the first place?

Okay magic9mushrooms. here it goes for the PC version..........
In order to achive this you need to kill at least 273 muds. One downfall you not bulletproof for the whole entire game. Just invincibility during Soul Storm Brewery only!!!

Ok... I don't really see why that's important, but nevermind... I haven't played Abe's Oddysee for some time, so I can't really give you an answer on that, but I thought I'd just correct what I said before about the boardroom mudokon; if you're trying to kill as many as possible, you wouldn't leave him, you can just tell him to follow you onto the bombs.

Ninjaxe, I think the reason he was asking is he killed the necessary mudokons and was told he had the bullet-proof bonus, but it didn't work at all. Not in Soulstorm Brewery or anywhere. Which is the same problem I have. And I have no idea why, but oh well...

There isn't a super bad ending. So if you killed alot of muds, it means that you have some bone to pick with the scrubs

I see Gretin, that is a problem. Most people I came across is that think of what I just said. In whole enitre game you get bulletproof. I want to emphasie why do people want to be bulletproof in the game? Immortality makes them feel good?

It could be the fact that the differnce in console. Can this cheat only be used on ps version. I am thinking that AO in pc has no Guardian Angel mv. So maybe pc version lack a few gaming qualities?

You've got a point there - Yes, the pc version of Abe's Oddysee had no Guardian Angel fmv for the rescue all muds bonus, so it's not unreasonable to think the same thing may have happened with Abe's Exoddus' kill muds bonus. I don't really care that much about it, just that I'm interested to know why it wouldn't work. But I guess all we can do is theorize
