I like the idea of the cards. It makes you want to play the game showing which games your dedicated too. - That said. You can just buy each card in a set for like 10p on the Steam market which defeats the whole point. It also increases your Steam 'Cock Size' in a manner of speaking.

Anyway. I asked OWI if the Oddworld games were planning on getting the cards.

@wariopunk25 We've spoken to Valve and they said they would be sending out a design pack to devs at some point.

I would love it if happens. it only means good things for JAW and OWI. Plus I would kill for a rare foil Oddworld badge.

Ultimately, if STCs are a game, buying them is cheating. It's a test of luck, patience, and haggling. Deliberately circumventing that achieves less than anyone playing properly, regardless of how little you may consider them to be achieving in the first place.

That's kind of like what I was trying to say the other day, but a lot more succinct.

I've decided I don't mind the trading cards. There are a few sets I want to complete because I like the art, or the game.

So I suppose they'll be going for races for AO and characters for AE. Or environments for both.

The regular trading cards are fun to collect. The rare and limited trading cards, such as Summer Cards being given out a limited time, are a true money maker. Once the event ends, so does the supply of cards. What happens when supply runs dry? Prices sky rocket. Have a look at the market and you see that happening at this very moment. Prices for regular summer cards have at least doubled and foil cards have tripled. And they are still going up. My stash of Summer Cards that I held on to for this very purpose is worth about twice what I invested in them. In a few weeks I'll see how much profit I can squeeze out of them.

I'd love to get the full Hotline Miami card set. I'm missing the Owl, the Pig and the Bum so if you guys have those I could uhh, trade them for FTL cards I guess.
