I just noticed something...a new creature, perhaps?

Okay, so I was browsing through my miniscule picture collection, and I stumbled upon this weird thing.

In the intern production art by Farzad, there are strange roundish things in the background. Take a looksie.

At first I thought they were early mudokon egg designs, but they look a tad too big for that...

What are they? Some new creature? Just a weird environment thing? Or am I just going bonkers?

Saw them, assumed they were Mudokon eggs. And that's still what I think. I don't think size can be used as an arguement for anything in this instance, because it's only a production design.

As for looking like the toad-blob, I don't think so.

I'm a artist myself, so I pay attention to detail and I see the artist putting some shading into an area that looks like eyes and lips. It looks very close to our karate blob guy. I can't see any arms, but if you look close, the face of the two are similar.

Yeah, looks like they're only eggs. I figured that they most likely were, since it was a slim chance they would make a character that...generic. Oh well. Thanks for showing me that, Xav.

Yea notice the curl on top, The Mudokon eggs have that same curl. You know when Mudokons hatch from eggs I wounder if they are full grown Muds?

At first when I saw the faded picture they almost appeared to be rats because I thought I saw the eyes. But thanks to Xav's pic its cleared up they are definately Mud eggs.

Hmmmm, I guess they are just plain ol' mudokon eggs. The blured picture looked like karate blob to me, but Xav's close up pic revealed the truth.

I also noticed that the close up picture of the Intern had that dripping.....thing. Gross!

Something about that pic reminds me of the interns- how I'd imagine it would walk, and general shape and expression...and even that clawed tail reminds me of the intern's paw.

. Anyway I talked to Alf about it on Oddchat and he confirmed that they are early designs of Mudokon eggs. Case closed.
