Those mouths are wierd. They look like they're always smiling. Strange.

Anyway, I think those are so oddworld.

Ghosted.

That first image reminds me of Pete i think he's called(Goofys' friend),in Mickey's Christmas Carol as the ghost of Christmas future(can't remeber what his title is)

This game should be worth the wait

I think it's great that we now know the names (although they could be incorrect) of some of the characters / creatures.

Thankyou, atusiya@!

Very cool, but if you notice, they name three different characters "Outlaw Boss", so I would take the names with a grain of salt...

Holy crap! I am so glad to have seen these! They look great, and despite what a few people think about the general change in direction for Oddworld creatures (their design, at least), I think Oddworld is doing just as good as, if not better than, when they first started out!

I beat Oddguy to the punch for once!
These pics are beyond brilliant and awesome!

Those top-hat guys are scarier than we all thought, and the Outlaw Boss guy looks like a cross between a masked wrestler and the Godfather with a bitchin' samurai sword.
I hope the karate blobs aren't called 'Scuba Toads', that's not very imaginative.

INGENIOUS! SO BRILLIANT! SO FULL OF LIFE!

Yes, there could be 3 different leaders and they each have a team of outlaws you must face or something...

I can't wait to the see the actual movie!

Amazing atusiya! You're truly better at finding news than I. I also wager Xavier is, but he's been busy lately. Give him enough free time and he'd whoop my rumpy at news gathering any day.

I'm just so happy! Those pictures are so cool. Finally we're getting closer and closer to more OW4 stuff!

Oh, and Scuba Toads...

This guy has somewhat scuba gear. Looks like he's going fishing.

The top-hat guys don't have their buckteeth anymore, 'tis a shame, I kind of liked the buckteeth but now they're all frantic with sharp teeth. The outlaw boss guy with the wrestlers's mask is quite an interesting character to look at, with his spiny head, Swischer Sweets, samurai sword, and Mr.T-like necklaces. The second Outlaw Boss (Ammo-Hat is a fitting name) is pretty cool and colourful, and the last guy is the same. I'm luvin' the CG intro stills, with Grub hunter with a frightened look and all the cute li'l Salli's. And the karate blob or 'Scuba Toad' is looking as cool as ever. And how could I start with Stranger, words cannot describe is hottness!

Bad-a-bap-da-Daaa I'm luvin' it!

New pen-names:

The Oddfather
Ammo-hat
Shades

If you notice the third pic down of the dingodile looking guy (from Crash Bandicoot) half his right tusk is missing whereas the pic above his tusk is normal. Are these maybe two different characters (look at the eyes)? or do we get to kick the h*ll out of this guy and do some real damage?

The first guy does look a bit like Pete. He also looks like an evil executioner!!

Sweet. I'm certain that there will be several hunter characters, which is pretty cool, considering that in most games you have just one big boss and lots of nameless minions, but here it looks like there will be multiple enemy characters to deal with, sorta like in Abe's Exoddus. (glukkon execs)

Hey, maybe those three guys are enemies to eachother? Can anyone else see the inspiration from the two gangs in Gangs of new york? Guys with top hats and the preist guy.

I like Shades the best outta the Top Hat guys. Oh, and I've always loved the Scuba Toads.

So, the Top Hats. There has to be something to support the inside of those hats to keep them from limping with all the ammo weight for one. Do you think they have a big spike type of a head that they cover up with a hat?

Looks like another cartoon-like quality with no rashionable explanation. I hope oddworld has an explanation for this, I had my fill of this from MO.

Why would they want to hide their gun? It's not like they're sneaking onto an airplane or into school to impress their friends. These guys look more like they'd shoot first and ask later.

Oddworld has always had a touch of cartoony-ness to it, I don't mind the funny hats, afterall the visuals are gorgeous enough to accomodate some nonsense. My only concern is that most, if not all the characters are more anthropomorphic in body-form. I don't see a single character with an odd number of limbs or outrageous posture. This too I suppose I can live with, I see this game as being the best they've made yet.
