Twice ze Flavour - Logo design

The title says it all really.

Seeing as the logo for New 'n' Tasty was first designed by a fan before being taken up and finalised by JAW/OWI I was wondering what the OWF members could do for Abe's Exoddus remake. Who knows, with a bit of luck the guys at JAW/OWI will see something they like here

My suggestion would thus be to make a logo in the same style as the NnT logo, or at least make sure the customers are be able to recognise it's the sequel only based on the logo. For the name itself I think "Twice ze Flavour" (TzF) is a popular choice.

If we were aiming to make the new logo as recognisably the same series as the NnT one, you'd need to stick to the same basic arrangement. Change the title(s), put them on a ribbon, change the Glukkon head to a Mudokon skull, and swap out the saw for a bottlecap.

With a bit more freedom, I think a bottle of Brew in a bucket of bones (the way champagne is left in ice) surrounded by a ribbon would be pretty cool.

Things to ignore:

The bone carving thing, I couldn't be bothered to think of something better (I guess it could work if it was just one bone)
The font - it should be one of those unreadably heavy Germanic scripts
Spellings of "flavour", "the" and "!"
The relative sizes of things
Colour schemes

Also, I think it's very important that the bottlecap is bent, like it's just come off the bottle. Just saying.

Interesting saying Blackletter. "Twice Ze Flavour" inspires much more of a florid and loopy script to me. More of a Copperplate, but with fatter, broader strokes.

That's fair enough - the Brewmaster is a meticulous Frenchman, so a meticulously French typeface would be appropriate.

However, SoulStorm Brew is also a rough 'n' ready intoxicant, intended to be consumed in excessive quantities, so to me that screams "Oktoberfest!"

Of course, the entire thing is basically a parody of Coca-Cola's extortion of the developing world, so JAW will probably go for a similar blocky squiggle.

You got it all wrong. The colours make too much sense, and the glukkon head doesn't have holes and drawing mistakes. You're totally missing Lorne's touch.

I quite like the idea of those, but I think the bottle cap should be bigger, kind of the same size as the saw in the NnT logo.

Here's what I came up with. Nothing special. Just the SoulStorm logo. Making this made me realize how awful I am at photoshop, and I need a better version. (elements is rubbish).
