Non-Oddworld Mods and Hacks

I couldn't see another thread for this, so I made one. You can post levels you've created and mods and all that shit here.

Also, I'm currently doing some Portal 2 reskinning, so if you want Abe or a Slig or, hell even a Pony face on your portal gun then you can ask me here, just provide the image you want on it, and tell me exactly where you want it. I can do it with turrets or even parts of GLaDOS' body, Wheatley has a lot of assets and VTF's to him so it will take me a while to get to grips with him. I thought about putting this in fan corner but it's more of a gaming thing, plus the fact that no one goes to fan corner anymore.

If there is already a thread like this please let me know, I couldn't seem to find one.

My first experience of modding was making my own flags and graves for Worms World Party on MSPaint.

Nowadays I just go through the game files of anything I complete and see if I can find anything interesting. Off the top of my head, I made a translation tool for Aquaria, a few custom skins, badges and banners for Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, a couple of Infinity Engine (Baldur's Gate etc.) voice packs... and something else that I forgot in the past five seconds. Darn.

I've done tons of mods for Doom, I took part in that SlaughterFest 2011 Map Making project. Somebody even did a Max-Kill of my map:



I made quite a few maps for the project, 4 I think, I recorded playing through one of the other maps:



Still working on a 50-map jokewad, one guy recorded a demo:



I've done quite a lot more, just I haven't recorded them. I'm pretty good at Doom mods.

Hmm, I have a problem. It seems the VPK.Exe has been removed ever since the latest update, I know I'm going out on a whim here, but if anyone has vpk.exe, (Should be located in steamapps\portal 2\bin) could they upload it as an attachment? I can't reskin stuff like Turrets otherwise. It would help me out a lot. I think you can find it in the left 4 dead BIN folder as well in case you don't have it in portal 2.

I started on a Portal 2 map in Hammer a while ago but I have yet to finish it. It's look pretty good for a first time though.

I've also had experience using the Source SDK Hammer Tool making TF2 maps. I adore the Source Engine. They're some amazing Source Mods out there. Just to name a few

When it comes to Bethesda's games, I tend to spend more time modding than playing. You might still be able to find a few of my Skyrim mods on the Nexus or Steam Workshop by searching the username "ltmattmoo". I haven't been developpingn anything like that for months now, though, so I wouldn't be suprised if it has all become out-dated.

It's possible, like in just a simple hex editor (you can edit graphics in some games too, I altered some .tim files myself). The real problem is to make it work on real PSX after that.

To be fair, if none of it was in slow motion, the film would be about 10 minutes long, but it's a good film. Good to watch, I mean, not good as an actual film.

I really like the look of that, looks kind of original. I've still not played your Chamberception and Quickstep yet, I'll check those out.
