Update TOGG

I don't really know where to put this, but since the Oddworld Library is kinda part of Oddworld Forums in a way, I'll just put it here I guess. Anyway, there have been some new Oddworld pictures released, and I think they should go on TOGG. Also, quick question, what happened to the Oddworld encyclopedia? Is it gone forever? Is there some way I could help get it back online? Excuse me if I posted this in the wrong place. That is all.

Found the problem. I knew it was HTML entities, but I had no idea why they were acting up. There's a relatively quick fix I can try, otherwise it's going to be a lot of tedium. Wish me luck.

I have literally just finished correcting every last public page in the Encyclopedia. Lots of same problems are affecting the archived OddBlog, but I'm not even going to bother looking into that.

So the Encyclopedia is back up. Most of the articles are still 7 years out of date, but at least they're there.

To be honest I was thinking about it. I still have a folder of images that need to be updated and added. I'm just thinking that perhaps it would be time to see if there is not a better way to sort them. Perhaps using some existing service or something.

The idea would be to be able to search the images in a way that might be easier then it is now with tags and shit.

Also for some reason I need to do all those thumbnails manually and it really is a gigantic pain in the ass.

Any suggestions?

On a side note, the fact that there is actually some request for it makes it much more motivating, thanks!

Tumblr has some tagging stuff built in to it if you're set on using a web service. You can build custom themes and plug your domain name into it too.

On the other hand there's a bunch of open source CMSes floating around, I'm sure some of those will have gallery plugins. Hell, maybe there's a CMS made for image hosting somewhere.

Just Google-image "Oddworld" and they all come up. You then sort through them the old fashioned way: yourself.
