Mine over Matter
Story: Up on a tall, looming mountain covered in forests exists a small, hidden underworld society of many cretins. Outlaws, murderers, thieves, and con artists have attacked many nearby towns, depriving them of money, equipment, and peace, then bring with them what they can to their secret cave systems. These areas must be scaled up from cliffs, rocky surfaces, and large forests around the mountains. This long twisting maze of nature is what kept the Outlaws from being captured after committing a serious crime. It seemed as though they were a powerful gang.
Recently however, the great, money-grabby Wolvark known as Boss Hoss stomped his scaly feet into the mountain. Mining was his business, money was his passion, and this landscape held money. There were a few cliffs and small streaming rivers. Within the land were valuable minerals and other materials, it was practically like digging up money yourself! Immediatley, Hoss's mining operation began. Powerful hoses, sometimes controlled by someone, were aimed at the small cliffs. They blasted powerful, high-pressurized blasts of water at the small cliffs, weakening them so that the buried minerals would gradually be freed from the mountain's grasp. The water eventually pushes down the minerals with it into a collective stream. It would then flow down many ditches and wooden sluices. Around these sluices, the workers would pan for the minerals, while the rest of the dirt and crap ran off into natives' fishing areas below.
The Mine town is not too far away from the actual mining operations. Far enough away to avoid the loud noise of hydraulic mining, but close enough to be under the not-so watchful eyes of Boss Hoss, literally just a forest and few cliffs away, leading back to the mining operations through use of cave shortcuts or rope ladders. It is small, wooden, but has plenty of homes, shops, and a saloon for miners, their families, or just people visiting/movng in.
THE PROBLEM: The secret Outlaw gang that call the mountain their fortress have been getting annoyed with Hoss's mining operations. They've threatened townspeople, attacked the places of operation, and claim that they will fully destroy the town if they don't get a fair share of money that Hoss makes from his business. This can easily discourage miners and their families, so Hoss desperatley seeks out help. What he needs is true authority in this land to keep his mining alive. The Outlaws enter and exit the town as they please, not always causing trouble, but they definitley aren't always wanted by Hoss ...

---------------------------------
My Characters,
Name: Hoss
Species: Wolvark
Gender: Male
Age: 46 (Earth Years)
Position: Owner of hydraulic mining system and mine town business
Personality: Simplest way to describe Hoss: Avaricious. Greed for money and riches is what drives this fat wolvark and he doesn’t like it when people get in his way. Hoss does have some sense of self-control however. He keeps what lowly self-respect he has, and would get his money through either others’ hardwork (Official business-like) or through shady deals with others. Hoss is prone to blaming others for his own faults, and is easily annoyed. But even so, he shows some mercy towards others. He doesn't like Outlaws much, but can be persuaded to having to work with them.
Appearance: Like any other Wolvark although, he's slightly fatter. He wears a small, brown animal hide vest, wears torn up jeans, no shoes, and his belly can be seen in plain sight.
History: A wolvark that was born in a less-likely place, the cities. He grew up as an excellent student at his schools, but also as a rough, monstrous thug on the streets. However, as his schooling got in the way of his business with his old gang, he was forced to move out of the city out of threat of being killed. Deciding to live less dangerously, he moved out into Western Mudos, where he could find more Wolvarks to relate to. There, he began hiring multiple creatures, making shady deals with multiple businesses, and found the very mountain that he started his operations. Now, he desperatley seeks authority over the Outlaw threats.
Name: Hydra
Species: Grubb
Age: 22 (Earth years)
Gender: Female
Position: Hoss's assistant, errand girl, spy, and expert illusionist
Personality: Hydra is cunning and an adequate schemer. When needed, she sits back to study the situation and then tries to figure out how to make things go her own way. Even if it means tricking a few people. Otherwise, she can be quite friendly. Hydra has a nack for magic tricks and is such a skilled illusionist that she makes them all appear so easy.
Appearance: A yellowish greenish Grubb. She has dark eye lashes and two big eyeballs on her head. She wears a light blue robe similair to a kimono and ties a black sash around herself. Her sleeves are so long you can only see her green fingers. And her robe is so long that you can't see her green feet.
History: Hydra used to live in Western Mudos, until she was captured and enslaved by the ongoing idea of industrialism. She was taken away from her natural habitat and into a scary looking pie factory. It didn't take long for her to get used to it and surpass other employees, but those same jealous employees got her into big trouble. The Grubb was immediatley kicked out by the Gluks, and forced to live in a harsh wilderness. There, she briefly lived with a native water-going tribe known as Akuafobeea, until she was bought out by Boss Hoss. Her life now mostly consists of running errands for Hoss, spying on Hoss's suspiscious persons, and performing magic to boost happiness around town.
Name: Mafisto Vuhyophace
Species: Outlaw
Gender: Male
Age: 30 (Earth years)
Position: Wanted Outlaw
Personality: Tempermental, brutish, and enjoys causing trouble. He rarely ever speaks. And when he does, it sounds more like growls and snarrls. He has a sadistic nature, enjoying the misery that befalls on others, even his own fellow pack members.
Appearance: Massive. Mafisto is taller than a scrab, and this guy is hunchbacked! He has two giant green shoulders and arms like a gorilla, and two short scally legs. He wears a torn black vest and black shorts. Over his face is a dark, rusted helmet. One can only see his huge bubbly eyes if his helmet is taken off. On the sides of his head are two, tiny bull horns.
Equipment: Large shank hidden on him, and he occaisonally brings out a rifle whenever he feels he needs
History: Born and raised by the best outlaws a kid could ever ask for. His Ma and Pa, if they hadn't died from a shoot-out, would be mighty proud of him now. He is wanted for the murder and consumption of Clackkerzz, Grubbs, and any other tasty creature that pisses him off.
RPG BEGINS AS SOON AS WE GET 4 OTHER USERS AND ATLEAST 2 MINER CHARACTERS. THE MINING WILL NOT START IMMEDIATLEY, FOR IT IS EARLY MORNING, GIVING MORE FREE TIME TO CHARACTERS UNTIL MINING STARTS.
