AO Ledge glitch?

I've seen various people mention a ledge glitch, someone also said it can be used to get to the secret area in the PSX demo.

So my question is, how do you do the ledge glitch? I think its the one where you can hang the wrong way of a ledge? I'm not totally sure but I guess someone on here will know

i dont need anything for pc,i tried the glitch on pc but doesnt work,but you can hang down like if there wasnt a trapdoor,you just come to it and press down and you will be on an invisible ledge

So that works in the psx demo only?

yep ,i tried,i found where the ledge is,without a glitch,and i die if i let go,if i go with ddcheat same...

How does this work? I've tried the psx demo and psx full game, crouching at the trap doors does nothing!

If you want I'll go searching for them for you, I think I know how to do this too but I wont say anything for now since it's been a while since I played.

i done this on pc,but in pc there is no secret room,plus this is a makeover of the return to rupture farms,where you have to rescue those two muds to get the shrykull.thats that portal that dissapears

There is in the PS1 demo disc, not the PC version Scraby.

Ok, so heres how you do it.... Go to a ledge, stand on top of it, turn the wrong way so that when you press down, abe turns by himself, now as soon as he turns.. RUN! now turn, and abe will lower himself anywhere. This works on both PC, and PSX, and both Exoddus, and Oddysee. Enjoy my fellow glitchers!

nice,i didnt quite get that before but i understand it now,i know a ddcheat glitch with ledges,stand the opposite way on the ledge,press down,as soon as abe turns,press ddcheat button,move abe where you want,he will appear as he was(example.standing right,press left and he will go down anywhere )

Awesome, thanks guys I'll be sure to try that to get in to the PSX room without jumping down the trap door and going ker-splat

Edit: I managed to get in there alive, seems there is no way out!

I used my xplorer cart to grab the background and make some test images for AO using cam tool.

Good to know, now I know 3 glitches, although I don't really look for them, this is the only one I didn't find on my own. We should get a cool glitches section I think.
