Mudokon going missing, then dying when found?

I finally found the cause of my losing a mudokon somewhere in soulstorm brewery.
Zulag 14, after being done with the Glukkon, moving the three mudokons on the upper area onto the lower one via the platform. For some reason, during the platform ride, one of these three mudokons goes missing, disappears. I only noticed because this time I really did keep close track of mudokons in the last hub. Went back up on the platform to find him on the second screen, falling, where then splats.
He was on the platform when I took the three down, disappeared when on the middle screen and died by hitting the platform on the way back up. I did not leave him up top, so anyone have any clue why this keeps happening? It has obviously happened more than once, this is the only reason why I keep getting stuck on 299 saved and not 300 -.-

This has happened to me on a different level, being FeeCo Depot. It only happens sometimes, but usually it resolves if you select the level using the Level Select cheat. It always happens you start from the beginning of the game, in my case.

I was starting from FeeCo Depot, level select to FeeCo as I have misplaced the first disc (Is PS version) and played it straight through. It is always on Zulag 14, nowhere else, and seems to happen whether I start from the beginning or do the level select.

I've lost my first disc too, hah.

In all honesty, haven't a clue what's wrong; nor do I have a solution to resolve it.

I guess you might have to get the Steam versions. It's not that expensive really, and it means you get to keep them 'forever'.

The only disadvantage of that is that I doubt my tiny ickle laptop could handle it, and then I wouldn't have the first clue of the controls

I doubt your laptop wouldn't be able to handle it. As for controls you'd just need to look at the options menu and then configure to know them all and then know that to speak it's the number buttons 1-0, across your keyboard.

Just saying

A 256 RAM...it cannot even handle basic version of runescape or secondlife without going jumpy and glitchy. It hates handling furcadia with animations running.
Probably get another PS copy for about the same price anyway

Furcadia is wasteful of computer resources.

One of the two
I would try it, though I can still buy a secondhand copy of the ps version cheaper...or I could play my french pc version (though I forget whether that is oddysee or exoddus, ho hum)

I'm guessing the disappearing mud is not a common thing then, if no one appears to have any idea about iit

I dont think people generally use the level skip code to play through the entire game.

...level skip code? I don't use the level skip, just level select
I did state that it does this even when being played straight through from the beginning, with no cheatigs active

EDIT: Just to double check things though, I have pulled out an old save game that was played straight from the beginning and has all muds saved up to that point (Zulag 6), play it to the end of Zulag 14 and make sure

I saved 300 mudokons in AE on the ps1 version and never saw that bug.

Don't know why mine is glitching then. I also got a glitch in zulag 10 but that was sorted by restarting the level and doing it again. It again glitched on zulag 14, so I do not know what is going on

Bizarre, that's never happened to me. Stupid question, have you tried taking the Mudokons down one at a time?

Not actually tried taking them down one at a time, maybe I should try that instead.

Indeed so, doesn't mean my computer likes using that though, cannot stand having winamp and firefox open at the same time let alone run games. I'm currently borrowing my friend's PC version, my computer hates it and I cannot remember the controls for anything though...
