Repo! The Genetic Opera

Has anyone seen the film?
I find the music really catchy and I can't wait to watch it again.

I particularly like the characters Nathan and the Graverobber.
Sure it may be a little cheesy, but for some reason I just REALLY really like it.
Anyone else feel the same way?

(Or anyone who hates it wants to speak their mind?)

Everyone has seen it.
I like it, though at times I felt it tried too hard to be weird. It also has some of the world's most annoying fans.

Overall, a decent film. Don't think it's worth a whole thread though.

Now, Tommy Wiseau's The Room... that deserves a whole thread.

Hey, this is a specific topic not meant for passing in the movie thread.

Sure, let's create a specific movie thread for every movie.

Unless the movie is a big deal, I'd say keep it in the I've Just Seen thread. Repo! is old news, and isn't culturally significant enough to warrant a whole new topic.

Such threads are generally short-lived.

5 bucks says this is the last post barring one that says something along the lines of 'You owe me five bucks'.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind. "The Room" is a pretty weird film. I just love how the dialogue doesn't flow at all and the main characters are all very contrived.

Weird? It's the worst film ever and violates every basic principle of decent filmmaking. That's why it's so great. It's basically one long episode of Tim and Eric, only the guy is serious about it.

I really liked Repo. It was a hell of a lot better than Repo Dudes or whatever that Martin Lawrence flick was.

That I can agree with, Repomen was one of the dumbest films I've seen.

Everyone knew Repomen was a shitty ripoff of Repo!, and those who didn't know thought the movie was mediocre anyway.

Anyone else reminded of the "Live Organ Transplants" scene from Monty Python's Meaning of Life?
