AO and AE freezes

Alright, so yesterday i had this error with BOTH AE and AO. When i load up AO, it can suddenly freeze permanently. Same with AE, but on AE i get loads of lag spikes.

I've never had this problem before yesterday. Any help would be really appreciated!

Yes im running both games on PC if anyone wonders.

sounds like either your graphics card or cpu to apg/pci bridge drivers are not installed
even if your computer is old it should still work, runs on a 133mhz+ cpu with 8mb vram gfx card

well this game is from 1997, from the days of windows 95 etc, i think the best home computers around that time where like 300mhz

Try Compatibility Mode (Win98). I don't believe the Oddworld PC games are compatibile with XP.
