Bigger in the sense of size or popularity or importance? Size, well, they'd better be careful, because if (Note: 'IF') OW4 takes place in Mudos, they couldn't have anything bigger than a Sea Rex, which isn't actually all that massive. In terms of popularity, yes of course, as long as people don't start pretending it's 'cool' which I really dislike people doing to Oddworld. In terms of importance, well, it'd be nice to see how actions and consequences of this game play a part in The Big Picture.

I for one would like to see the SeaRex in Steef and with this new boat who knows! But I also wouldn't mind seeing some large creatures wandering round Mudo's. Prehaps heards of them in the Necrm desert or in the Wild-life reigon?

Some characters have gotten bigger than from the past. Vykkers experimented with steroids and thus the big bro slig was made. I'd like to see something happen with the crashed Vykkers Labs. Maybe it landed in some sort of swamp and some weird chemicals got into the water supply. That could do some funky things to characters we know, and maybe create characters we don't.

All I know is the Sea Rex is huge. Nobody knows the actual size of the creature because who would want to catch one if you get my drift. Good old Alf told me that. The Sea Rex is the most largest water dwelling creature there is on Mudos. We will most likely see it in up comming games I am sure.

I am cerious if there are these wild giant Hell Hound type slogs liveing in the wild. You know like wolves but bigger and more lizard like. Where the slog is sort of a small breed from these things. That would be cool and rather disturbing as it would hunt during night hours. I can imagine this thing howeling at the moons of Oddworld and that howel would be something that sounds different and something out of the ordinary but huge and dangerous but mysterious. Creepy if you ask me!

Ill draw a concept of this and show ya!

yes, and that big skeleton lying in the paramite and scrab retreats (i really shouldnt bring that up due to all the opinions and arguements that get started) but hey who knows... a searex kind of strikes me as something that would be in Steef's. I do hope Steef doesnt turn out to be a cartoony like game seeing the crossbow, heres my idea of caRTOONY GAMES:
1. Ty the tasmanian tiger
2. crash bandicoot (big time!)
3. Sonic
4. Spyro (aaarrrgh)
5. Mario

tahts it basically but you can see my point, right?

Those games are good in their own way. except the bandicoot one which is one of the worst games I have ever played. and no Steef should not look like those but I can pretty much guarantee that it won't. After Lornes distaste for his last game I think he is going to go all out on this one.

I'd like to see like a character with the power to raise the dead bring back all the Oddworld prehistoric giants.

I don't really think Mudokons have the ability to bring back the dead yet. Of course I'm contradicted by Resurrection Totems in MO, but I'm pretty certain that's just a part of the gameplay and not an actually on Oddworld - besides, if you play properly, you won't lose any Mudokons.

My basis for this comes from an Interview with Lorne that describes the Mudokon religion. It says that their beliefs right now are confused, and that they will, over time, rediscover their ancestor's lost faith, but will find ultimately that it does not sustain them. In fact, it is through compassion, insight and knowledge of the self that will eventually allow the Mudokons to evolve and transcend death. Source: GamerWeb Lorne Lanning Chat Transcript
