I need some technical help

I didn't know where else to put this cause well it has to do with oddworld and i need help on this subject, i use windows media player to view music and game trailer ect, and on depth of oddworld website i dl'd the x-factor video with lorne lanning presenting OSW, and there is all this other halo2 and crimson skies stuff in between, so does anyne know how to take out certain parts of windows media player movies?

i watched that movie, but i dont think its possible to cut out any of those scenes with the media player.
but if correct, it is possible cutting stuff out with windows movie maker.
