Abe's oddysee help

Hey, i'm playing abe's oddysee at the moment on my ps1 and i'm stuck! it's in the part just after rupture farms, the gamefaqs guide calls it the "FREE-FIRE ZONE". i've just done the secret part with the two levels of sligs, now i have to activate a UXB, go into the screen on the left, get a slig to run after me, get on the ledge and the slig should run into the UXB.. only problem is, THEY WONT FOLLOW ME >__< , i can get the to shout freeze by running off etc but they wont follow me to the UXB.. help!

edit: sorry, i knew this would happen. as soon as i made this thread, he followed me. irony from hell.

I remember that point.

I can never get them to follow me, but I worked out a tiny moment where, if you run, you can make the ledge past the sligs without getting shot... it's so hard to do that I always stop playing there and end up trying again a few weeks later.
