Oddworld Art Exchange

Yep yep yep!! Figures a person like me with little time would make my schedule worse by comin' up with an idea like this, but what the hey, I enjoy it! Thanks to a little brain jump-start from Dark Hood, I've decided to start an art exchange. For those of you who don't know, an art exchange is where you request someone to draw one of your characters for them, while in return you draw one of theirs. Can be quite fun to see how others view your characters You can request with me or somebody else who signs up for the exchange, and you can request an Oddworld character or another type of character, such as a dragon, or my personal fav, werewolves. Since it is Oddworld Forums, please do me a favor and request at least one Oddworld character.

Ok, here are my personal rules (They will differ from person to person):
1.) No humans....I suck at drawing their faces so just don't ask me.
2.) Nothing disgusting, of course that it is the board rules....you know what I mean.
3.) You must provide some samples that display your character so that I have a guide.
4.)Please don't copy other's work line for line, try to draw their characters in a pose and form you see them in.
5.) Nothing mechanical....too much detail fer me.

I am quite a busy dragon with schoolwork and band, so if it takes me a while to do one work, I apologize in advance.

In return, I will attempt to draw one of your characters using MS Paint, but don't expect the outcome to be that great, because I can't draw that well. . .

hmmm I'm game.

My rules:

1. No human types(that includes elves, dwarves, etc.) I suck at them royaly.
2. No mechanical stuff...i suck at inanimates. (slig pants I can do though...)
3. Please provide a sample or a good description.
4. NO TRACING!
5. Keep it clean...(you know...PG type stuff)

My request:
Would like to see someone draw Ishtar. Yep that's right, the demi-goddess that you have seen in my fics and in chat. Note: she is only 4' 9" ft tall (thats 171 cm for those that use the meteric system...).

Heh, I can't draw, but I try when I can be botherd and the outcomes is sometimes quite good. . .
Well, I suppose I can draw if you count my mediocore (spelling) MS Paint skills.

4. I can draw off of a descrition (practice, lots of practice)

i would join this, but unfortunately i am not in possession of a scanner, and i am not even good enough to be called bad at MSP drawing...

however, as a work of charity, if anyone would like to draw any of the characters from my fics or from the rpg, i would be forever in debt to you, i would serve you loyally for the rest of my life, and i would actually belong to you. or maybe i'd just be nice to you, either way is good...

oh yeah, if you want to draw a scene from Fragments, you'd better have a lot of red...

Would someone draw Electra or Alector? You can draw Electra when you like mechanical stuff, Alector just have tattoos and his tiara.

Well, Rett, I plan on doing another one of your chracters, but this one's just a warm-up as my drawing has be all shmutzed up lately. It came out decent, and I plan on coloring it in. This is, of course, Rettick... drew him in a kinda layed-back pose.

umm, yeah, BD, that's a very good picture, just one point: one of Rett's distinguishing features is a scar across his feeding tentacles...

incidentally, i think i posted a list of characters somewhere [probably back on the last page by now], and they contained brief physical descriptions...

I did a pic of Electra Alector. It didn't turn out completely like I hoped, but I feel I didn't do too badly considering I can't do mechnical stuff very well.
