From a scientific prospective there are many things that are not supposed to exist but exist.
For exemple you can't mesure the fact that you exist but still this is probably the only truth you will ever be certain of.
Or again, why is the moon circling around earth mantainingg the same exact speed even thought it is constantly bombarded by asteroids?
Negating something just because you never saw it is not a scientific approch but a religious/dogmatic one.

Well of course we exist, philosophers can dance around that argument for eternity but we do indeed exist. It is as you say, certain. There are measures to determine our existence too, philosophers however will debate their reliability. I take the standpoint that whatever a scientist says is generally going to have more sway than what a philosopher says.
The moon is not circling the Earth at exactly the same speed as well, it is slowing down as the orbit expands due to a loss of energy. If you're going to come up with an argument at least back it up with things that are true. We can measure the fact that the moon is slowing down through observation.

I think you'll find it's the polar opposite, science only ever says anything is certain if it is measurable, that's why science on the most part rejects a creator being.
