So lately Ive been really "intrigued" with piercings, i guess in a way you could call it an addiction. i started with piercing my ear and i really liked it, after that i pierced my other ear and began stretching them, now ive got my sceptim done and my industrial done and i just keep wanting more and more!
now its not like a ridiculous addiction like smoking or drugs and blah blah blah but i was just wondering does anyone else at the moment have an addiction like this and also what do you think about piercings?

This is going to sound odd from me, but I actually know how you feel. I used to have three earrings (one of which was pierced a second time after it closed up) and a tongue ring. All of them happened when I was, for one reason or another, feeling very stressed. So for several years afterwards I would think to myself "I want another piercing" whenever I felt stressed.

Thankfully I held myself back.

I learned something the other day. As if tongue piercings weren't bad enough, they can also split your tongue like a snakes. I saw a video of someone doing it and all i could think about was "Wow, that looks like it hurt", "The tongue is a very hard organ to cut", and after seeing all the blood "How the hell does that heal?"

I once thought about having snakebites, but even if i took them out and let the close up, you'd still be able to see them.

This^ i also believe stress is the thing that makes me pierce myself, the only problem is my parents tend to stress me out when i pierce myself so it feels like a neverending cycle.
