Funny, you make a thread about memorable moments and the first one you can come up with isimho forgettable (Cliché), medicore and fuckin' unoriginal (all hail the Sovereign, ultimate enemy with no real motives [as for ME1] at all... kill all organics because.)
“I always believe the movies I've made are smarter than the way they are perceived by sort of mass culture and by the critics,” Snyder said, a statement he immediately followed by saying, “Also, ‘It looks like a video game.’
I thought the ending of Mirror's Edge was beautiful (obvious spoilers). The song is great.
This one requires a bit of backstory. In Dark Souls, you've just killed the boss Quelaag the Chaos Witch and this is her sister, Quelaan. You're able to talk to her if you have a special ring and what she says to you is pretty sad when you realize what you've done.
I'll be honest, I almost cried when I first heard this during the credits. If you've played Arkham City, you'll know why.
dammit can't watch 2/3 of these videos because haven't played the games.
Mirror's Edge ending was kinda plot-holed for me, as I didn't kill the guards on the roof and they disappeared. I don't like ending music being called Still Alive either.
The most tripped out moment in Video Game history.
That was garish and hurt my eyes.

You're kidding, right? It had its moments, but on the whole it just went on and on and on.
I don't think I'll ever forget the cutscene where Otacon raves on and on about fucking biped robots, though. So boring. I spent the whole thing wondering why I hadn't skipped it yet.

It's subjective, but I got sucked into MGS so hard that I enjoyed every single cutscene. The one with Otacon wasn't that bad (not the brightest part of a game as well)
Shame that apart from the Shagohad chase, there really isn't very many moments in 3 that stand out independently of the overarching plot. The ending is perhaps the greatest video game ending of all time, but it's something that builds up gradually over the game and hits you with the force of a thousand suns.

Zaeed, the badass mercenary from Mass Effect 2. I love watching this scene. Never has the ejecting of a thermal ammo clip been so poetic and dramatic as shown here.
It does? I haven't heard it. All I know it's probably the best MGS game.
No that's MGS3.
