Your pictures are amazing, Alector. They are so creative, and full of character. so different to each other, yet sharing the same "mudokon" feel, behind all those ears, and feathers, and colors, and fur. My favorite are the parvus aqua scolopendras and the macula feras.

Your mudokons are very much better than mine... You have a neat imagination...

BTW, their names are very cool, could you translate the latin taxonomy to english? Some of the words I understand, but others I don't have a clue:

grandis auris : big ear
abnoba grandis pes: (?) big foot
parvus aqua scolopendas: (?) water (?)
macula feras: (?) beast
capilus viburnum feras: hair (?) beast
cutis cataracta: skin (?)

what do they mean?

Hi,

Thanks for your compliments. I like it how you show the people that you like their drawings/ fanfictions. Your expression is great!
I think your Mudokons look more like Mudokons - mine are just drawn in my own ordinary style -
But that doesn't matter, the main thing is you realize that they are Mudokons and nothing else!

Well, to your question. Certainly I will translate and explain them for you.

Abnoba grandis pes : I'll just translate Abnoba because you already know what grandis pes mean. It's nothing more than forest. These Mudokons are "forest walker". They mash every animal that is smaller than their feet!

Parvus aqua Scolopendas : Pravus means very small and Scolopendras means foot. Joined, these words mean “small water-foot”

Macula Feras : There is also an English word for Macula; Maculation. Macula feras is just Latin for “Spotted-animal”

Capillus viburnum feras : Viburnum means snow, because those species live in the arctic.

Cutis cataracta : Cataracta (there is also an English word; cataract) – means waterfall. Actually I wanted to call them “cutis aqua”, but this name was too simple for this species.

I hope this answer your questions.

Okay. Thanks, Claud.

Name of species: Brios

Oringins of name: Uh, well, Brios muds are blue, and so are biro pens, normally. So there you have it.

Race: There is only one race of Biros mudokon, an amphibious type that an swim very well, but is more suited to living on land.

Category: Mammal

Characteristics: Webbed hands and feet, intelligence (well, at least most of them are intelligent), and the fact that they have hair instead of feathers. Also they can hold thier breath for up to 30 minutes. They also put on weight in places where the water is cold (or if they are lazy, like Blue).

Body height: 100cm - 215cm

Weight: I don't really know, but they aren't designed to be lightweight. Light enough to climb trees, but not light enough to be too boyant when swimming.

Habitat: Mostly in cost-side forests, but they can live inland where there is hardly any water.

Food: Mostly vegetarian, although they eat sea food.

Social Structure: Stay with their families, until they find a mate. When they find a mate, they either leave home and make a new family somewhere else, but not too far away, or stay with one of the couple's familes. They don't spread out very far.

Sexual Maturity: 12-50 years.

Pairing Time: For life, although they may break up if they're not happy with each other after a while. . . It depends.

Life Span: A Biros mud who has looked after him/herself can reach 80-90 years.

Oddworld Ingenious.......

ahh,.....ohhh......*is speachless*

I don't know what too say Lec........ But this is an ingenious topic you've created. -Is the Ignis Cutis more of a 'native' or is it a creature like 'wildliver'? Because I think It's one of the most awsomest pictures you've drawn!

*chuckles* Don't worry, Melinda. WILD Sligs live longer, and ElectraSligs live longer than most Glukkons, on average.
