Music Question

i have a game called Abe's Oddysee and it's on pc. now then, on to the question.

is it possible to remove the music file so that you don't hear the music?

Yeah, I just discovered how in the last three minutes. Actually, no. Come back when somebody has said ‘This is how you do it.’

This is how you do it:

1. Use my LVL extrator and extract all the files from the level you dont want music in. (R1 or S1 is the first level, forgot which it is)

2. Look for the files that end with .BSQ
3. change the .BSQ to .BSQX or somthing so that the game can't find the file
4. use my lvl builder to rebuild the lvl file
5. replace the orignal lvl with the one you just created

Thats it, run the game and the music will be gone, however all sound effects will still work such as game speak and background sounds

um...and where is your lvl extractor+level builder download? because i do want to download. plus i dont care if the sounds is gone or not. i just want the music gone with the lvl extractor and level builder

and another thing, if you live in soulstorm brewery, which you claim to do, then how come you aren't dead? Abe must have blown you up.

i've gotten level extractor, but you also said to use level editor. where is it?

I said lvl extractor and builder, i.e get the data files with the extractor, remove the music, put them all back in the lvl file using the builder, come on now, it isnt that hard
