Abe`s Oddysee for PC Controls

I recently bought Abe`s Oddysee for PC and have played it before on PS1. The controls seem very difficult on the PC and I was wondering if there is some way to change them?

Edit: I haven`t played this game in so long! Is it possible to make 2 mudokons follow you at once in this game? I can only seem to get one to follow at once.

I don't remember if you can change controls, propably not - they're really not difficult, you just have to get used to it... for me PS controls are hard (really, how could them put all 9 Abe speeches into pad controls?)

wow, I totally disagree with you guys, the pc controls seem overly complex and the PSX controls make so much more sense to me (especially for exoddus).

Guess it's just which version you've played more.

I like the PC 1 to 0 keys for Gamespeak
I didn't like you have to do a combination of buttons to talk on the PSone

Why? It's sorted for faster selection... I think it's quite good solution

Yeah it is a very good solution,

I suppose it's that everytime I want to talk I have to move my hands around the keyboard, and just that I'm more used to the PSX version

If you're using normal digit keys, I can tell you it's not really long way using left hand You can also use Numeric Keypad which is much closer to arrow keys :P There is no need for shorter way due to fact that you can't talk while walking/running/jumping etc.

I use a laptop, so I don't have the numeric keypad, but I still find it very easy to use the digit keys along the top for GameSpeak. Mind you, I've never played the PS version...

You can buy a gamepad and set AO to use it. There would be a way to change the controls, but that's Pauls department.

Yeah it is a good solution for the PC, button combos wouldn't work as well on a keyboard
