Lorne also said that SoulStorm would be what AE was originally supposed to be, which as far as I'm aware doesn't involve Munch.
Either way, I'd prefer Munch to have his own game. He's an entirely separate character with his own skillset, enemies, story etc after all.

I adore Munch and I think it would be a shame if he was dropped because of the result of MO because while the game....wasn't great, the cutscenes where awesome and I to this day really enjoy watching them cause of the story and the characters.

i have heard that munch story is important to oddworld area called them dark woods and we will see his story there

As much as I want Munch to come back considering how gutted and bland his game was, I'd rather he appear in his own game than be shoe-horned into a plot he has no business being in. Given the setting at the brewery and other places shown, Munch wouldn't fit since he's more sci-fi than spiritual.

Seriously though, Munch just doesn't seem to be spiritual. I did read up that Gabbits are apparently sacred to Grubbs, but we're not anywhere near West Mudos yet.

Maybe they can have Munch show up in the epilogue as a teaser for a future game...
