A simple one on sligs... crappy eh?

Snot green,
Tentacle face,
Commonly seen,
Security race,
Guns ready,
Metallic pants,
Aim's steady,
Death grants.

Animated nightmares,

Hehe, I'm getting ahead of myself but I think I may attempt a ballad. But anyway, please tell me what you think and I'll write more... and where I can, I'll try to improve.

Ok, Kesiah. You asked for an Abe poem and Facsimile wanted it to rhyme. So, in accordance to both of you, here's an Abe poem.

A hero who has pale blue skin,
Different from his green skinned kin,
And a thick, simple feathered head,
Who leaves sligs and interns dead.

No industrialist is safe from harm,
While this blue fellow has his palms,
With a simple chant he possesses his foes,
Blows up the body, laughs then goes.

Born to leech off the suffering of others,
They depend entirely on wealth and looks,
All these sick creatures are brothers,
They slaughter, enslave or drain the brooks.

They care not for the natives and wildlife,
Nor do they concern themselves with the well-being of slaves,
They make their riches off pain and strife,
And also by digging up sacred graves.

They dwell in lairs of iron and steel,
They stand in offices protected by bars.
While their slaves scrub floors and kneel,
They go on about how perfect they are.

Legend says that a hero shall rise,
And put an end to their cruel reign.
He will loot their wallets and cause their demise,
And release these lands from slavery and pain.

Only those who are brave
Will dare dare enter the fortress of grave
Sorrow and despair.
For within this lair,
Dwells numerous horrifying creatures
That shall kill you with weapons of steel and terrifying features
Like beams of radiant light that are able to burn
Any flesh and bone. They are torturers and spurn
Happiness and peace and enslave native dwellers to toil
Within their stronghold in a life of harshness and turmoil.

Please do not beg for feedback. I have noticed lately people are generally only giving feedback if they receive it. But I also have noticed the sheer bunch of people sticking to one topic or story that is popular. I myself was once guilty of doing this. I dont think its fair that it is practiced though that way. Please try and widen your range of story reading and such, and dont just go to a topic and give feedback because your lazy and dont want to read other stories. Many good writers have yet to have their literary works read. So before you start saying oh your the best writer, and this is the best story ever, please try and read more stories, and give older writers, and newer writers a chance, and not a select few. Thankyou.

BTW I do like the poems that rhyme. So keep up your good work CG.

Uh... okay...


Glukkons are a greedy bunch,
Killing wildlife just for their lunch.
Sligs do the work while in the office they lay,
Watching the Moolah roll in each day.
They caused the Meeches to become extinct,
We've got to try and stop them is what I think.
But they just pollute the area, don't give their pardons...
Only wish to reach Glockstardom.

Well, it's been ages, since I've been busy. You know, homework, sports training, rehearsal after rehearsal and other extra curricular activities. Anyway, I'm finally back to fan corner!

Walking through the wilderness,
Mudoko and partner Elum sought shelter,
The heat would make any mud swelter,
And Mudoko and Elum had been sunned all day.
So they sought solace under a tree,
Not knowing it was not what it seemed to be,
For it was in fact a Vykker trap.
The wood turned to steel,
And the bark began to peel,
Revealing a large mudokon trap.
It was indeed a large contraption,
But silly old Mudoko was to too slow to give a reaction,
And thus was captured in the trap.
But good ol' Elum,
As quick as Mudoko was dumb,
Leapt aside just in a nick of time.
....
