As if censorship in my country couldn't get any wierder. You may remember the guy who was
convicted a year ago of possessing child pornography because he had a doodle on his computer of Bart and Lisa Simpson having sex with each other. Australian law states that even drawn pictures that depict an underage person having sex is illegal, not just photographs.
Well, it appears that that same law is having other unexpected effects. It turns out that
local pornographic magazines are avoiding purchasing legally made photo sets from the USA if the woman has small breasts. The theory being that a small-breasted woman could theoretically look underage.
Thus:
:
Even if you are 18 years old but you look younger, taking a photograph of your breasts and uploading it to the Internet could land you or someone you know in serious trouble.

Personally, I think that that article takes the wrong approach to this issue in talking about societal standards and body image. The people looking at these magazines are not self-conscious, flat-chested women. They're men who are going to develop unlikely standards of beauty. And leaving that aside, this law is just plain dumb.
Also, according to the last section of the article, depictions of Golden Showers are illegal. I mean, they're distasteful, yes, but why the hell would the government ban such an inane and harmless thing?
