Hello everybody it has been a
few months since the launch
of my OWF art contest and
we have some awesome
entrys for this first contest.
I am pleased at the amount
of entrys I got from the last
three months. I am very
surprised at the fact
there was more non
Oddworld as oppose
to Oddworld. But it
doesn't matter now. Now is
the time to cast your vote
for the best OWF artist of
the first OWF art contest.
Ive thought a little bit on the
Oddworld art contest situation
and I thought since it was
oddguy and myself whome
submitted some pieces I am
going add those Oddworld themed
artwork with the rest of the non
Oddworld artwork. In this thread
state who you think should be
the best artist and why you think
he or she should be the winner.
State your vote like this:

EX:
I vote for Oddguy because
his work is blah blah blah!

Mainly you vote for the person
you think should win and state
why you think he or she should
win. If you want your vote to
count thats how you need to
vote. Because this contest is
not about how good the work
is its about the approach.

Submit your votes and comments
in this thread and make sure you
comment on why you voted for
that person. After about a
month I and whoever was on
my art team will tally the votes
and there will be an announcement
on who the winner is. Thus his or
her work will be put into the OWF
gallery that I am going to

Don't worry Sea Rex if you have some art work lieing around your house that you did post it in the Art contest threads. If its Oddworld put it in the Oddworld art contest if its non Oddworld put it in the non Oddworld art contest. Every day from now until June I am going to sweep through the art contest threads and add those pictures to the entry list I did above. If you want to pm me you can but I want to see your votes in this thread so post your votes in this thread. The pm voteing just doesn't work nobody ever pm's me a vote so I made a voteing thread. I just hope we get votes in a month for this first contest.

Oh on another note I figured out what the title of this first contest is going to be and that is "The winter and school year annual OWF Art Show." All the Oddworld and non Oddworld art in this show is all from what we did all winter long and the school year. In June we are going to begin the Summer Annual art contest and its going to be called "The Summer Annual OWF Art Show."

That goes all the way up to August and September and then we go back to the winter stuff. The idea here for these contest is for like several months we submit work to the contest threads at random and then at the end of that season we do a thread like this posting all the work we randomly posted on the forums over the months and weeks spent being quiet about it. Now its time to see those results and its going to be put in a gallery. This how a professional art commision works. People submit work months on end and then a gallery is made. The difference here is its online. Oddguy I am going PM you on how we are going to base our final decision on the winner. Remember the person with the most votes doesn't really mean he or she is going to win. It means he is in the final 4. After that Oddguy and myself will look at your work and make our final answer or dicision as you can say.

Also any of you who want to be a judge like Oddguy and myself send me a list of your artistic skills via PM and we will hire you on the OWF art team. And even better you can still enter your artwork into the contests even if you are a judge. This is for everybody and if your work doesn't get picked this time maybe next time.

I dident know SS was a judge I don't remember you asking if you wanted to be one via PM but ok then your a judge. I can't use Oddchat I am going to have to discuss my plan we need to base our final choice on eather through MSN or e-mail or PM. I know I have Oddguy's e-mail address its in my address folder but thats how we are going to have to do this. SS I am going to PM the details to you and Oddguy about it so don't start anything until I explan the details on how its going to work out. Don't worry I will pm you both everything is in line.
