Oddworld Bands!

this is my idea, the RPg starts out as me ,and who ever else joins, as a band that includes,
-Lead singer
-main guitar
-bass guitar (me)
-drums
-backup guitar (bass,regular,or acoustic, it dont matter)
-manager

but what about you regular joes, who are not in the band? easy, as the story progresses then you guys get to be in rival bands or get to work at the recording studio, radio DJ who decides what songs to play, whatever.

to start off the rpg you guys PM me with ideas for a band name and who ever wins gets the first position. and i f you have any iodeas on how to improve this RPg jus post em' right here

History: pretty much born with a bass guitar in his hand, doesnt know much but is extremly dedicated at playing the four notes he knows.

Tommy the tooth? no, Frankie Figg? nope, how bout Mushmouth Mike, noone will understand him. who will join the band??

History: After passing hisss OddExams he went to a top-notch universsssity where he studied complex physssics off the world of Odd and after getting his degree he got a great job as a sssscientist and sssettled down with a family................then he woke up.
He's failed everything he's attempted so far, joined a band and is ssstruggling to pay the rent....oh, and he as a slight hissss to his speech.

Jimmy is sitting in Coke's Garage discussing the band and trying to figure out what it should be called. as well as how they could make it big, and what Genre they should be.

Cokie: I think the band sssshould be a heavy black goth metal rock kinda band.

An awkward silence fills the garage as a tumbleweed flys past the door.
Cokie: How original..........
Jimmie: So then, idea?
Cokie: Oh yea...erm...Im actually wondering when I got this Garage installed onto my very tiny apartment.
Jimmie: Any important contributions?
Cokie: Yea, why have we got a 13 year old as a lead guitarist.
Jimmie: Don't make me sack you
Cokie: Sorry....How about 'OddRock' for a band name?

Jimmy: uhh...the name sounds good but I dont think we should be a goth rock band...how about punk rock/rock music? because I don't think it will be cool if you sing but sound like you have had a cat scratch the inside of your throat, like SlipKnot, he's a bit freaky.
uhh...any other suggestions? for the name or otherwise?

History: one of the few free born sligs, he got a job at one of the few radio stations on Mudos. He loves the Blues but will play other music gladly enough, Except Rap, you rap artists will have to get DJ Rex to play that crap.

Jimmy: Hmm Bill I dont know how you got Jimmy Smack, because my last names not smack...but I think you're name is a bit long...so far OddRock sounds cool...So is it agreed OddRock?? (if not then wait a while to complain because it can be a good point of interest in the story.) sweet.
*Jimmy turns on the radio in time to hear the most popular new song in mudos...Dream Off by Slurgtopia.*
Jimmy: "thats what we got to beat guys... I have a few Ideas for new songs
Rowdy Rock, see Bill your idea didn't go to waste. we can enter that one in the big competition Odd Fm is throwin'. so boys lets get practicing..."

SLurgtopia lead singer(postion open): well, keep practicing and...um...find a company to sign a contract with, and um...play your hearts out baby.

Ig: hmm that was interesting. we'll talk more with Slurgtopia later in our show, for now here's a fine tune for all you hip-cats and hip-kitties out there heres central park with making a habit...

So for eight long hours the band, OddRock now, practiced the new tune. stopping for only the most primitive needs, y'know? nature calls, plus everyone gets hungry. Finally at 11:00 Jimmy decided to put away his guitar and head home.

Jimmy: "remember guys we got to practice the chords on the bridge!"
jimmy's thoughts: i have to send that tape to Oddworld FM tomorrow. the deaedline's in two days...oh well if we win, we win, if we lose, we lose.

Meanwhile, Cokie decided to go back to his small apartment to practice miming to other songs.

Cokie: I have to win so I can afford singing lessons and other neccessities of life....such as food....which I havn't had in a while.
Landlord: Are you talking to yourself agan?!

Cokie picks up a bottle of Soulstorm Brew and chucked it across his room.
Cokie: I should really quit drinking
Landlord: Shut it down there.
