Non-Oddworld 1 minute stories

I' going to write a bunch of stories that won't amount to anything other than practice.

Tom was at break-neck speed charging through the valley with arrows landing close behind him. He had to make it through the storm of arrows if he wanted to live. Sprinting with all his might, he felt a surge of pain come from his shoulder, but he had to ignore it. He couldn't stop, but even he knew if an arrow missed him another one wouldn't. His theory was tested and proven to be correct when his lower leg was shot directly through. The arrows ceased and so did Tom. A pair of feet stood infront of him. He forced himself to look up. A pair of red eyes gleamed back at him. His axe raised Tom the Hero's head was cleanly swiped off as his body fell limply to the ground. The creature tossed the head to his followers whom then sealed it in a jar to prevent it from rotting. It was a decisin they regretted for whenever they looked at it they were sure something came over them. In the end they killed themselves in hopes of drowning the something out.

There will be more just not yet.

Oh yeah it's kinda medival. Feel free to post your own stories that never will amount to anything big.

Ok, here's mine
Jerry woke up, cold and hungry. He sniffed the cold, polluted air, and was reminded instantly where he was, London. He looked around to see what had woken him, everything appeared to be normal, the drenched street hadn't changed, silent and eyrie, the flicering street lamp hadn't changed, neither had the night sky, which was, cloudless, which was quite rare, he gazed in awe at the stars above him, knowing there was more to life than on the streets, knowing there was adventure before him.
"Where's mother, mother?" Julia wimpered in her sleep, quivering beside Jerry, she shook violently with hyperthermial, they would have to find shelter, but now it was time for sleep. Yet with the mention of his mother, tears came to his eye, and splashed across the ground, then thoughts began to fill his mind, and then follewed by the thoughts of his father, he looked straight into his father's once warm eyes, but they did not see him back, the poster covering one side of the big ben remained the same as usual, dark, emotionless, watching, searing fear into the hearts of anyone worthy enough of opposing him.
He closed his eyes once more, hoping sleep would come.

It doesn't have to be one minute but it should be something you thought of realitively quick. Otherwise it wouldn't be short.

a large donut rolled down the street. it was the size of a large donut. hah. the small cat inside it was panicing, it was Giro day, and he could feel a humongous fur-ball emerging from the depths of its abdomen.

furhter down the street, in the war path of the donut that was the size of a large donut, stood Mr Magoo, the President of the United States. before he could mutter an incantation to reveal the donut's (large?) true identity (jam roly poly), a squeaky voice was heard echoing from the skies above, it said; "HA HA HA HAAAAAR!! HA HA! LOOLLOLOL!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!1111!".

yes, 1 minute.
