Room Mates from Hell

Whether you've shared a dorm or an apartment with someone, I'm sure at least some of you have encountered the occassional asshole. Or maybe I'm the only lucky one. Anyway, if you've had some sort of similar experience, pull up a chair to bitch and share.

I'm currently making preparations to get the hell out of the room I'm sharing with this alcoholic, inconsiderate bitch. She's done a lot of shitty things to me, and the other night crossed a big line. So... She goes out and gets drunk on a Thursday night (although both of us have class in the morning), stumbles loudly into the room around 3 am, and goes to bed. At some point during the night, she vomits all over her bed and then goes to sleep on the floor. She doesn't clean her mess up until very late the next night. My room was completely uninhabitable for almost 24 hours because of the rancid stench. Fun, fun.

She's also done some smaller but also inconsiderate things as carrying my tv to a different housing complex and leaving it there for a week until I have to go get it back myself. While I went back to my home state for Thanksgiving, she babysat birds ON MY DESK because she had no room on her side. She didn't clean up all the seeds, bird feathers, and other filth that covered my desk, chair, floor, and that also became trapped in my keyboard.

So yesh. Comfort me with your own horrid tales.

Hmmm, my dog keeps shitting all over my house behind my back, if that counts. As well as chewing up carboard boxes and leaving me to clean up the mess. That stupid inconsiderate whore.

Well, all I can think of is when I went to this place in Year 6. This boy had been moved into our room because people were bullying him and throwing his Bill and Ben teddys about. He was this real wimpy kid who brought it all on himself. >.< He was scared of the dark, so everyone except me put all their torches on. Why should I waste my batteries on him?
He was sick in the middle of the night. The next morning, he had to use my teacher's mobile to ring his mum. She came and picked him up, while everyone stood and watched. How embarrassing...

Well, that's it, I bitched.

Well... I have a room-mate. He lives in the same house, even though I'm not in college yet but I guess you can count it.
Here goes nothing:
1. Cannot get along with my younger siblings much.
2. Has no grasp of the word "personal space."
3. Gets very upset and mouth's back over almost nothing.
4. Not too bright.

But, he's a cousin, so I still love him... Can't wait till I don't have to deal with him though.

Hannah and Ashleigh aint so bad, I went down the bottom of a quarry with them the other day, and came back drenched from the "lake".

I've never had a roommate, unless you count my little brother, of course. I personally despise sharing rooms with just about anyone, as I dislike the thought of anyone else having full access to my belongings. The only person I'm actually looking forward to moving in with, though, is my girlfriend, since I don't care if she uses my things, and it'll give us more time to spend together

I don't recall having any bad room mates, but I do remember my mom talking about a room mate she had when she was in college. That room mate never found herself studying for any test. She spent a lot of stuff along the lines of being a Christain, like attending prayer meetings. This girl also spent her time complaining about her grades, even though she barely studied. My mom would have to explain to her everytime that she never studies, but this room mate claimed that God would help her on the next test. Which ended with arguements. This room mate also thought that she could boss my mom around. Problem right there.

I don't have much of a bad room mate, but a bad partner. On one of my Spanish group assignments, this one kid had to work with me by no other choice. So I try to be friendly, but the half of the time we were working, I was doing the work and he was pervertingly annoyed the girls in front of them. The girls didn't like that either. Although I try to tell him to stop, he refuses to. He usually added his own perverted comments to me too. I rather not say, but he made me say something in Spanish that I had no clue what it meant. Not something I rather say in the young group here. He also commented a bit about me, giving me harsh insults (some included swears) in public. I could stand them, but I would perfer he didn't say anything about it. This guy also started making hand signals to his friend that were also perverted.

This project was really oral. We did practice it and he was pretty good at it too. Except when we had to actually present it. He messed up, forgot half of his lines, leaving me to ask to repeat the conversation and mouth half of his lines for him. And after we had a week to study the presentation. Not exactly horrible, but he thought we were getting a bad grade because of me.

Now, I did get a good grade. He lacked a little, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. He was a little decent some of the time. And at least he didn't punch me or anything. Lucky me.

Not exactly room-mates, but my cousins, Frank and Brian. They have to live with me since they were two, because their parents expired (went to see their maker, started pushing up the daisies, deceased) 14 years ago. Just one word can describe both my cousins:

bastards.

Because of them, I hardly get to see my girlfriend Lois.

Argh, my hallmates annoy me no end, as they screech loud noises in the corridor, bang on the doors at night, and play with a football that invariably slams against my wall. One of them has, I believe, very impressive speakers, and he likes to play music at extremely high volumes. They may not be complete arseholes, but they’re irritating in a non‐original way.

I would say I can’t wait to move out, but I’ve got nowhere to move into yet. I’ll have to find a room being rented out. Then maybe I can have a good moan about my housemates.

), he just keeps making me do whatever he does. He thinks playing Oddworld games are a waste of time cuz they're old. Hopefully he won't read this, he'll be real pissed...

I took a trip into Boise for a newspaper class (To anyone who's forgotten, I moved to Idaho from Cali just last summer), which was pretty awesome.

We had about four guys to a room, but two of the guys were total homophobes and refused to let anyone else sleep in the bed with them. Since they were a senior and a junior, and my other friend and I were freshman, we were basically forced into having to sleep on the floor.

Suprisingly, however, it was quite comfy.

but that doesnt mean they havent shared a cabin with they most anoying faggot.
On year 6 camp I was just talking a trip to the bathroom, to express my self to urinal. [sorry to much detail.] and apparantly some one eles was going to use the bathroom to, for 6th time that night. any way he knew the teacher was on to him so he was doing barrel rolls crawing and all that bootcamp crap so the techer didint see him. apparntly one the way back hey was talking to me, I knew we wernt allowed to talk afer 10:00PM so I ignored him.

and when we got back guess who got in trouble and had to sleep out side for talking, barrle rolling, and going to the toilet 6 times in 2 hours.

Hell, I don't particularly care for sharing a bed with strange men myself.

It all comes down to how they put it:

"Ooh no, you might roll over in the night and accidentally insert your schwang in my hoohaa" would be homophobic.
"No thanks, you're a short, fat, hairy guy with bad breath; I really don't want to spoon with you thanks" would not.

hm, I guess a room mate would count as someone you had to share space with for more than 2 days. Well, my little sister might count. Even though she's 2, if you put her to bed when she doesn't want to, she can pull some of those god of war finishing moves in her sleep! Kicking dad in the nuts, bashing your nose with the back of her skull, rolling over and doing a nice wrestling landing that involves your ribcage and her bony little elbow, and baisically beating the crap out of you. That was the worst christmas ever.

I lucked out I'm a Freshman in college and I roomed with someone I've known for years and is one of my closest friends. It actually worked out very nicely and we haven't gotten sick of each other and yet it's nice to have a nice sense of security and trust, plus a sort of home base while I'm away at school. Plus with the way we always have been we both met some great people that have become our close friends and now the five of us will be living together in an apartment next year.

Hmm are animals considered room mates? Ah hell, they are now!

I have a lizard, two cats, and a dog. My lizard doesn't cause any trouble, he's in his little fish tank roaming around. Cute little fellah. My dog is good, she usally sleeps and is a great watch dog. But...my cats...are ANNOYING! The older one has a problem with him, he's very sick, I feel bad for him. He's cute (minus the strange fur), but he doesn't know when to NOT go under your feet! He trips me like everyday, and now that my dog has a bed he hogs it! We gave him a bed, numerous beds, and he destroyed them all. Then there's the younger cat, probably the most evil cat ever existing. She hides behind doors and waits for my dog to pass by, then jumps on my dog and puts her claws way into my dog. Ouch. Then she goes on my bed and starts licking herself on her pillow! I mean, it's alright to bath yourself, just don't get my pillow wet! The result of me pushing her off is a scratch or she'll follow me and stalk me...literally, she scares. And also wakes me up at night by rubbing against me. I pet her, and she hisses! I swear, she's so annoying! But..she's so damn cute, it's impossible to give her a good smack!
