Why is it, that welcome posts always end up as a conduit for backhanded conflict?
Because some people can't welcome properly!!!!

Then they get all defensive when someone else tries to encourage the noobie to stay after a comment which could be wrongly construed as offensive!

I've seen the calendar, and there are lots and lots of people who just post in welcome threads and leave. I think we've all noticed, though. If he's still here,I think he would've posted. Who knows......whatever.
