save editor is phail?

i keep using the save editor (the newer version) on my save file, AND YES I DID IT CORRECTLY, and it wont work. i keep pressing the update button. i loaded the game up, i loaded the edited file, and it wont work. how do i make it work?

tell me in steps, please.

and also, your my only friend in this forum...

the editor was made by Liji. also, there was a glitch when i save, the save file wont appear in the folder.

Who the heck is Liji? Also if it dosen't appear in the folder dosen't that mean its just saving it some where else?
