A Question about Images

So far, whenever I've posted any fanart up I've had to put it up as an attachment. Do images need to be put up somewhere else online before they can go up on the forum, or is there some other way to put them up?

Also, for some reason, I'm having trouble quoting a message in reply. I've tried clicking on the check box, but it won't turn on. Help me, someone who knows how to do it!

If you don’t want to upload your image as an attachment, then yes, they will need to be up somewhere else on the Internet. Then you can include them in a post with HTML <img scr="http://uri.net/image.jpg/" /> or vB Code [img]http://uri.net/image.jgp/[/img].

For quoting, clicking on ‘Quote’ will take to the reply screen with the quote already in your post; or, if you want to quote multiple posts, click all the buttons so they highlight before you click ‘Reply’ or ‘Go Advanced’ to go to the full reply screen.

by the way if the file type cannot be read by the forums or the file size is too large u can always join deviantart and upload ur files there , then u can embed them here.

Another question; are we allowed to change the names of threads, or is the first name permanent?

First name is permanent unless a mod changes it.

For clarification, the first name is permanent after 5 minutes of it's creation. This is in case you've made a slight mistake and want to edit it quickly. After that, you would have to contact a Moderator as Max said above.
