Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PC) Multiplayer Problems

Apologies for this but I have literally tried every single avenue of questioning open to me, even asking on Ubisoft's twitter/facebook and forums.

Ok basically, I cannot find a single game on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I know it's not just my PC because I managed to find games about half a year ago, but for some reason the option "anti-cheating" is disabled. Not only that but PunkBuster's settings for Brotherhood have vanished completely. I have no idea if they've dropped support or what, but this is getting ridiculous.

I've tried blocking ports, updating the game, but not having any luck.
Does anyone even know where I can start? Who am I meant to ask help from?

Brotherhood is relatively old and I think if people even still play AC multiplayer games, they are playing Revelations which has better multiplayer anyway.

By that logic, I should hold out for ACIII. (sigh)
Gamers are so fickle. You'd think people would stick with a game for longer than that.

It's kind of sad how everything between 2-4 years is considered 'old'. People seem to forget it wasn't all that long ago that people were playing the hell out of COD4:Modern Warfare, Counter-Strike and Halo 2/3. Considering how insanely popular Brotherhood's multiplayer mode was, it's just a shame how the servers are virtually empty now. It probably doesn't help that I'm stuck with the PC version which I hear has much lower player numbers than the 360.

So logically, to play an Assassin's Creed Multiplayer game right now, I would have to rush out and buy Assassin's Creed Revelations, pray that I find players and pray that ACIII bombs so that people play Revelations longer. For all I know there might only be 2 people online. It sure does help that the minimum number of players is something stupid like between 4 and 8. (Compared to most multiplayer games which just require TWO people) It's pretty stupid for companies not to show how many players they have. (rant over)

ACIII on the PC or Wii U. Choices choices...

Or you could look for people who have the game and would like to play multiplayer with you. I purchased Brotherhood recently, had a go at the multiplayer and found it OK, and I also know of one former OWF member who also has the game. I also found it hard to start up a multiplayer game in AC:B, but I guess playing with friends could go around that problem...

I'm pretty sure they will be a group of people who still play on the multiplayer (Unless the servers go down, Which is what I think is the problem with Brotherhood) I mean look at Counter-Strike 1.6, Team Fortress Classic, and the old Call of Duty games.

AC:B Was broken to begin with. I think they were so focussed on console multiplayer that they didn't give a flying fish about the PC users. I suppose similarly to the new Call of Duty games they can't be arsed letting players host servers so they just do these crappy "session based games", which is of course totally stupid, because if one person leaves, the game is FUBAR'd. What a brilliant idea. Put 8-16 players to the mercy of one little kid with his terrible Wi-Fi connection and then have the session ruined just because he rage quits.

That said, I have been enjoying certain games multiplayer very much, most notably Mass Effect 3, Black Ops Wii and Brotherhood, when it was working.

I'm amazed that the Call of Duty Wii games actually have a online community.

Not Modern Warfare so much, but Black Ops is always packed!
It's pretty much the best FPS on the Wii and many people know it.

It's the only CoD with zombies on it, and I flipping love that mode to death. Honestly, random weapons and laser upgrades have never been so epic.

Yes it did. And I still prefer it over Black Ops' Zombies, it's much more arcade-y.

It did on the PC, 360 and PS3, but not the Wii. The only CoD game with Zombies for the Wii is Black Ops.

Black Ops is amazing. It's about an accurate of a port as you can possibly get. A few things missing due to technical issues and graphical cutbacks... but the maps are practically intact. We got plenty of updates during the first few months and planned DLC (though it never happened sadly). Hardly any lag online and some very fun game modes and good community.

Yeah CoD and 'Good Community' doesn't seem right together - No matter on what platform you play on.
