You can get them at Amazon.com. That's where I got mine.

The bad thing about the computer version is that you can't use the invincibility cheat. Ah well.

I hate the invincibility cheat now, I can finish Abe's Exoddus without it, I used to use the cheat all the time, but now the game seems easier.

But it never works in AO which really stinks.

I wanted to try it in AO ages ago, because I personally thought it was harder than AE.

Abe's Oddysee was way harder than Abe's Exoddus.

It was Scrabania and Paramonia that were super hard, way harder than the Mudanchee and Mudomo vaults, they were pie!

The Mudanchee vaults were quite hard though, but I agree on Paramonia and Scrabania. *Shudder*

Actually, I finished AE much faster than AO. But that's just me.

Anyway, did you get your computer version of an Abe game, The Exoddus?

Yes...AE is long but easy, you can just keep plugging away and finish it in a couple of hours. AO is hard, as there are things in AO which don't exist in AE such as synchronised Slog Kennels...*shudder* Also, in AE, once you've done something once, it's done, because of Quiksave. In AO, you must string hard things together. Besides, the much lower Mud count of AO doesn't make it shorter as it has three long wild environments that AE doesn't. In AO, also, secrets are not flagged, so it is much harder to 100% the game. In short, AO is slightly shorter, and a LOT harder than AE

Well partly because I can't sit in front of the TV all day, it
took me half a year just to get to the boardroom level of
AO. And then counting the times I had to restart from a
region in the early parts of the game because it froze and
I didn't get to save it.

Well, I always like a good challenge, and AO and AE certaintly gave me that.

I found all the scrubs in AO, the last one I needed a hint (that secret in the scrabanian temple where you roll right into the wall! Can you believe it?) but I can't find them all in AE. I used to be able to get them all out of the mines, but now I forget where two are (tunnel five, methinks). I think my record is... 284.

My record is 240. I think we should have a thread for how many Mudokons we saved in AE.

There is. Try the Search feature - it is a font* of all sorts of useful knowledge.

*Before you ask, I'm not talking about things you use in Word, it's an olde-timey way of saying 'fountain'.

Oh, I always do something stupid. Like the time when I was playing AE and trying to sneak past a sleeping Slig guard. I pressed X by mistake.
