First up: A little comic project I'm calling "Chicago's Finest."
Hopefully, if I can refine my skills, I can send this to Marvel.
A head-shot of one of the villians in the comic, "Quill." In fact, he's the very first villian I'm using in the comic. In fact, he's not even a full-fledged villian. He doesn't talk, he has a limited intellect, and he has the decisive reasoning skills of a wild boar. He's more like a lackey.
One of the three heroes in the comic, "Neon," A.K.A. Brook Charmaine Her tattoos are organic (sort of like a gland) and produce a green-yellow glowing fire (hence her nickname) that allows her to both glide and shoot from her fingers. She's good natured and always has a snappy comment ready for her enemies to chew on, but don't cross her because she's relentless. Her strength is boosted ten-fold by the fire inside of her.
Powers
-Gliding
-Shooting her fire from her fingers
The second character in this little opus of mine (Opus and Bill?). His name is Enigma. Nobody knows who he is, or what he is, or where he came from. The problem is, neither does he. He has amnesia, and all he can remember is being dropped (literally) from a spacecraft onto our own planet, smack-dab in the middle of a Chicago park. He decides to use his natural abilities to help people, and decides to join the heroes.
Powers
-Natural elasticity
-Can fit in tight spaces, such as between doors and in jars.
-Body has a velcro-like quality to it, he can stick to things. Comes in handy during stealth missions.
-Has a strange knowledge of most locks and how to unlock them.
The third player in my twisted game of chess. His name is "Sledge," A.K.A. Carlton Davids. His childhood was complicated. He was given a genetic mutigen as a baby, and spent most of his younger life at a Government facility. He escaped at age 16, and spent the next 8 years of his life roaming the streets of L.A. Word got around to his ear that his brother was none other than Quill. He hopped a bus to Chicago to have a talk with him. He was rudely introduced to Quill by Quill's fist meeting his face. Carl chased him down to a boat dock, and then lost his trail. Quill, however, had a talk with Neon...but that would be revealing the whole story. You'll have to wait for the first issue for the rest...
Now this is a villian I'm most proud of. His name is Theropod, previously Max Rogers. He has since dropped his human name because he is no longer human. Yet another experimental genetic mutation (with artificial dinosaur DNA), he escaped from his cell while the mutation was dealing damage to his mental state, causing him to believe he was, in fact, the creature he had become. Max Rogers was gone. There is only Theropod.
Wow, sh*t. I need to start writing this down!
Here's a body-shot of Quill. Note: the outer teeth are actually tusks.
And last but not least, Iron Maiden (no relation to the band). Her body carries unnatural amounts of metallic compounds, and she nearly died from it. Then she was saved by a "miracle" treatment, bu giving her a dose of an expirimental genetic syrum that would allow her body to control the compounds in her body. This worked a little too well, and she herself was slowly able to control the compounds, even shape them to her will.
I haven't worked out what drove her to crime yet. She's f*cking insane, I'll tell you that.
Speaking of f*cking insane, Mommy dearest is yelling-er, telling me to go to bed.
Until next time!
