DVDs are better no duh. I have the DVD pack, our regular player is a couple years old, its outdated. The X-Box DVD player is nice, and all DVDs are good, I mean theress no way any VHS tape could actualy be any better, unless they hadn't made a DVD of it. Whoopde doo, I sugest you just go along and hae fun now.

VHS's are much better than DVD Players.
Why???
I can record stuff with my VCR, while I can't with my DVD Player.

And Yes I know you can get a recordable DVD player, but I don't want to sell my orgins to get one. You can only record up to 80 minutes on a single Disc while you can get 5 Hours tapes now. If you wanted to tape a Movie using a DVD, Good Luck. So at this Very Moment, I think that VCR's are better than DVD players.

Good point with the VHS and 'tis true the recordong is better for VHS. VHS also has long play for double the recording length. But seeing as I never record stuff on my VCR (well, maybe a couple of times a year if you're lucky) because I don't watch much TV (less than two hours a week if that! Unless a mgood sport is on.) then I can live without a VCR and go for DVD. They're so much better to watch and the multi-region chip in mine sure comes in handy when your relo's or friends go to Thailand!!

I have a DVD with a DVD-RW on it, and I have a HD 4:3 ratio TV. The only way to appreciate DVD's is in high definition....and MO looks good on it, too.
