You can find them on the Oddworld DVD (but I assume you don't have it otherwise you wouldn't be asking) or maybe on yahoo videos or google videos. Other than that I can't help you.

It's not. 'Tis a mystery.

The video featuring Mudokons hunting and dancing was online at one point, but I don't think it is now. I might get it up on TOL some time.

I want to ask that THE SHRINK is the muds' Queen right? So its incase in robot suit of some kind created by vykkers. So that means not all vykkers are bad? or is it that the Shrink queen in captivity so that why it Munch's Oddysee, Abe and Munch had to save their unborn brothers?

While we're on this topic, why do Shrinks have screens with Mudokon faces on them? Why not a Glukkon face, or something else?
I just find it weird that something watching over Sam, to make sure she doesn't escape, has the same face of her own kind. You'd think that it would have the face of something evil.

It is to make their victim feel more comfortable talking to or obeying them. Kind of what like psychiatrists do.

Shrinks are designed to treat suicidal mudokons. Seeing a fellow mudokon face is alot more comforting than a glukkon's.

Yeah , a glukkon face saying something like " aw , dont worry , itll all be better soon , dont kill yourself! old buddy! " Would scare the crap outta me , and i would probably die of shock from a glukkon saying something that considerate.

By the way , what are those masks palookas henchmen wear? the look like clown masks.

Yeah. Palooka's band of baddies seem to have made masks their trademark. The minions, Palooka himself, and his ex-partner Scuz all wear masks.

Does anyone know if the Collector's Folio Edition of the Oddworld art book ever came out? I remember sending an e-mail to Ballistic Publishing and I got this in response:

Adam,
The Folio Edition -- you are observant! We are still considering if and
how we might do this edition at all. We might do a very few of these --
double size (width, height and thickness), hand tooled heavy leather and
boxed binding. If we do these they will be extremely limited (just 1 - 10
probably) and could cost upwards of US$ 1,500.

We are looking at the possibility extending the editions we print to the
finest books ever made -- large folio sizes, highly decorated bindings,
gilding, hardware and boxing. However it is extremely expensive to make
books like this -- especially in very small quantities. At this stage we are
still investigating how we might make these editions.

I would be happy to hear your comments on collectors editions and the market
for them.

Regards

Mark

Then:

Adam,
Thanks for the reminder. I would love to do this edition. I did discuss
it briefly with Lorene Lanning and Sherry McKenna earlier this month but
none of us are in a position to move the idea forward just now.
I did think of starting a call for interest in such an edition -- if we got
enough interest / pre-orders then we could do a special print based on those
(if we get enough).

Keep reminding me.

Cheers.

Mark

So any clues if it was released? I know he said they had no plans at that very moment but it's been awhile now and I just wanted to know if it was released.

Yep, the first is just a CG test.

The Marching Mudokon, I don't think enough books were ever sold to encourage either Ballistic or OWI to consider a Folio edition for too long. It's such a shame. $1500 is a shocking amount… but I do love an elegant book. I do.

I do as well. It is alot to pay for them but there was only going to be 15 of them so they would of been extremely collectable. If I had won the lottery I wouldn't of hesitated to get one (or two ) but otherwise I don't think many people would even consider buying one.

The main difference is double size (width, height and thickness), hand tooled heavy leather and boxed binding. Other than that I'm not too sure if there is a difference.

Is the circle the Mudokons send the lighting from in the AO ending possibly Storm Circle? That's just how I've always seen it.

I always thought they were in a circle that would make a small amount of power of the Shrykull. I never thought it was a Storm circle.

I have a question of my own. I looked at the overview of SW, and I saw that Grubbs were around 6 feet. And Mudokons are a little over 6 feet in the AO overview. That makes the two natives the same size. Is that true? I don't think that those natives could have relative sizes.

We've long since deduced that those height charts aren't quite accurate. If Abe is 5' 8", then Molluck would be maybe 6' 5", but according to the chart he's 9 something feet.

Now this, for me, is an interesting issue. Everyone else (Or at least mostly everyone else) believes Interns can't speak and have had their mouths stitched up, which leads to the eating query. I take the words in MO literally- They've been surgically prevented from whistling while they work, not neccessarily from speaking and/or eating.
And as Sekto said, Oddworld does have Opples, which are basically apples.

I'd say that it is something similar to a storm circle. I've always figured that there was a number of different mudokon facilities used to combine the spiritual power of a number of muds for various purposes. But each one would have to be built differently to channel the energies in different ways.
