I noticed that I got too much comic-styled pictures in my thread now. My gallery badly needed something realistic-lookin' like this. The problem was that I felt too constrained to show you anything in the meantime because pictures like this one take awfuly long...
I like how this picture turned out, in fact, I
really like how it turned out. It's the first art of mine with which I'm truly pleased of.
There were also many new things to learn for me, it was a pretty interesting experience. Took long, though... but it was succesful, really. Maybe I'm even gonna do another tutorial about making horns and fur and especially the scales to let you quys know about the new techniques I found out. It's really easy.
The colors of the dragons are not the traditional Chinese sort, I guess... I prefered it like this more than the simple green color. The silver color makes it looks older and wiser.
And I like older and wiser.
What's that strange ball it holds in his paw, you ask? Hmm... let's keep it as all the forbidden and captured warm colors in this picture.
