Okay. I don't think this topic has caused problems. Considering the nature of the subject, people have been quite mature. Closing this topic would be making a mountain out of a molehill; for the situation is quite calm. If people can discuss things rationally and peacefully, there are no problems in my book. Just make sure you don't insult anyone.

As for the topic, we all seem to be beating a dead horse now, so to speak. Everything to say has been said and things are getting repetitive. I just want to finish up with a clarification to Pinkhaired.

I listen to everyone, and I change my opinions if the individual presents a valid argument substantiated with facts. You have yet to do this. You simply spout your beliefs, declaring them as the ultimate truth, which are based on faith, not facts. On the other hand, I have produced fact after fact after fact to supplement my arguments.

It was you who called me closed minded. In response, I pointed out that it was quite the opposite, and explained why.

Nobody is saying you aren't entitled to your beliefs, but when they are based on faith, they have no place in an argument concerning facts. You can believe ANYTHING you want to, as absurd they may be. I respect that you believe in whatever it is you believe, but if it goes against established scientific facts then expect to be asked to back up your claims with facts, otherwise don't state them at all.

This is a pretty stupid argument. Pinkhaired is the only one in these forums that thinks humans aren't animals, and she's also the only one who takes the bible literally. TOO literally. So if we continue to argue, she'll continue to say her point, which is that what the bible says is true, end of story. However, everyone else's point is that it is not a bible thing, it is a scientific thing.

So, if we continue arguing, the same thing will be said over and over and over until everyone in the whole damn world is trying to get Pinky to give in. But she never ever will.

Well, biggest topic on the board, and I started it! Yay for me! However, I am sorry that there is a big argument going on inside it. I can't be bothered to voice my views on it right now because I am really hungry and haven't had anything to eat all day.
The reason is because I stayed up all night and slept all day, and then I went to my friends as soon as I woke and was too busy to eat anything, but now I've just got back, so I'm now gonna get something to eat.

Pinkhaired, by jumping into a conversation and falsely "correcting" someone, you are declaring something as a truth. See my previous post on why you shouldn't do that.

And the bible has changed a lot throughout its various translations. I don't know about reincarnation, but I'll refer you to a web site that shows how "hell" has been misinterpretted and that the bible does not teach eternal damnation.
