Biography: Lost his mind several years ago and was locked up in frakture fallz. The only thing that he recognises is escape. No family, was left to rot in a deep muddy hole. was found by glukkons, worked nearly to death at several locations, then lost his mind and was locked up.

As the elevator doors opened, he looked around at the newly arrived vykker and bigbro. "This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder, doesn't it?" he whispered to Slax.

Flufflepuff growled, then grabbed Pretzels by the shoulder. He changed his mind; he wasn't going to let this nut wander around. Since the robot receptioist seemed defective, he decided to go to some other place in the facility. He dragged an unwilling vyker by the shoulder, who in turn dragged his suitcase and dead girlfriend by his spindly arms. Flufflepuff reckoned that guy was going to get a repetitive strain injury soon.

True name: Not known, really.

Species: Combine CP slig genome.

Yarr, Backstory.: After several years of no ideas in the industries the glukkon decided to fund some of the Vykkers projects.
This led them to the eventual esablishment of interdimesnional peace between them and the Combine, a hyper intelligent race of totlitarion hybrids.
Odin was the name given to a slig who went through hybrid surgeries at a Combine facility then to the trauma center at Frakture Fallz.
Eventually he earned employment, but was rejected by most other staff members.
he Vykkers agonized over his health, hoping he would'nt do anything unsafe.
The glukkons saw him as an invesment, and needed him alive and well also.
Spliced with genes from The Beastly Strdiers to The mighty combine advisors themselves, Odin is a super slig, but has the mindset not to care.

'Odin' typically left his gaurd duties in the sanitarium branch up to other sligs, and would simply lay about, munching on snacks, playing games, or smoking to annoy the Vykkers.
But today was different, Ulrix was having a fit, and no one seemed to give a care.
Grabbing a stunstick, he clunked over to the nutty muds cell.

"Oy! Ulrix!"

He shouted, but only recieved scraping on the door.
He wouldn't risk using the surveillence flap on the door, Odd knows Ulrix could rip his eyes out if he did.

He clanged his Stunstick against the door, waiting for a response...

It has been done before. One RPG actually revolved around the idea of a new possible species on an island. It was around the time Red Muse was moderator and possible when Hobo was in the RPG business as well.

It really depends. Is the character have any divine or godly powers? Is he really intelligent? (able to get himself out of every situation) Is he super strong or have powers? (able to lift huge objects way beyond what he should normally be able to lift or having laser vision) Is he by any chance have hybird parts to him that belong to another world? Does he have any disadvantages? (For example, Bobby is really strong, but he couldn't pass the seventh grade or be able to use his mind in a good fashion)

If you said, "No, no, no, no, and yes," you are allowed to have him. As long as you describe him.

Odin has the combine hybrid properties of a Metro CP, and if you're any kind of Half Life 2 fan, you should know that Metrocops keep their conciousness and memories, effectively being foot soldiers.

He is very mart, and has weak telekinetic abilities ( stop small, slow speed objects, I.E. grenades) and must be incredidbly focused to use them, with his blended STRIDER
genes, Odin needs to use three legged slig pants, a drawback of the Temporal Plasmite Discharge that he can issue from his mouth that came with the Strider DNA.

Odin is not invincible, though, he can be shot, beaten, and burnt to death, but is incapable of drowning.

In a pinch, Odin can use essential nurtients found in bodies using his Headcrab genes, but must have a live being to do so with.

And Finally, Odin has been given 'wings' but these are simply flaps on his back that, similair to a bombardier beetle of earth, can emit small reports of flame, he can effectively 'double jump' this way, but excessive use of them is extremely painful, and could injur him or kill him.

OOC: All that seems a bit...loony, for an Oddworld thing. Oddworld is rather more realistically based than many game series, and Half Life...well, I don't know, I haven't played it so much, but is based elsewhere.

Splicing with other Oddworldian species (or, perhaps, just have a genetically modified Slig to add new features) is far more plausible than saying it's blended with something else. Say, you could keep most (or all) of said abilities, but change the story so instead of being to do with other dimensions (which would likely have different based lifeforms that are completely and utterly different, like silicon based rather than carbon, breath methane instead of oxygen, etc...that is, if said dimension even has the same elements as ours does, though Half Life is similar, if not essentially the same, to ours, as is Oddworld fundamentally), it was an in universe concept.

PS: Bombardier beetles don't use their wings to create the explosions they spray at enemies. Inside at the tip of the abdomen, are two organs containing different chemicals. When the explosion is needed, these organs both pump the chemicals forward. They were separate, but now that they come into contact, they react explosively.

Look, is this backstory REALLY that important? He was a genetic experiemtn, he can shoot a mouth laser, needs three legs, has the ability to knock rocks out of the air if he concentrates, and can shoot straight upwards with a burst of chemical reactions.

I thought I could make it easier on myself by not making any new creatures up and explaining them.

Equipment: Spear, armour, helmet and (Elum hide) shield handed down to her through generations, and her trusty rod.
Appearance: Green, with a yellowish hue, and golden eyes.
Personality: Kind, caring, gullible and loyal, as well as dwelling and stubborn.
Biography: Jaka was born and bred up in a land far, far away. She loved her family, but there were many stresses on her family due to a lack of water. Then there were the raids, right after a mysterious stranger went through her village, and stole a priceless artefact she knew she had had enough. So she packed up and left, with a noble goal of gaining riches to help restore her family and riches to its formal glory and behind. So she left, found an Elum, stumbled upon a Clacker (whom I will introduce later) and rode towards the industrious world. She found it. She was everything in her village, which accounted for nothing. Her intelligence got her nowhere, as, quite frankly, she was a Grubb. But with her best pal Charlie the Clacker by her side, she finnally found a job, Charlie was desperate, so depserate that she didn't inform her of the happenings of the hospitals, expecially the situation with the grubbs. Oblivious of this, she joined, happy that she had a chance to help people. The grubbs veiw her as a traitor for her situation, which she is currently oblivious to.
