It's a very good film, with a good message for the kids. Even if it's maybe a bit too disturbing at one point.
When at the zoo? If so I thought that was hilarious, he was such a corpse. Get your dirty tongue off him!! Go Frodo.

Yeah, at the zoo. Hilarious? Hmm. Well, I thought his quick descent into insanity and chucking that fish against the wall was incredibly horrible.

I'm sure there were some funny bits during that segment, I forget.

I watched Saw 3 a few days ago. It was pretty good, in my opinion. Not as good as the first two, story-wise, but better than them when it came to the fore factor . I'm saddened that it's over now, however. It was one of my favorite series of horror movies.

I also watched Saw 2 last night, since it was on demand. I never get tired of it.

If Saw was your favourite series... that kinda sums you up as a person huh?

Whereas I thought his dip into insanity was much fun. How it got into a childrens film I just chuckled at.

And the fact he went insane. And his demonic singing noise.

It was one of my favorite series. There's always going to be something better, more frightening to watch, in my opinion.

And how exactly does my liking Saw sum me up as a person?

Most people seem to like the Saw series. I used to like it a lot, but after seeing the second one I think it's kind of dumb for some reason now.

I'll admit that the story and certain situaions do seem to get a little repetitive in the second movie, as well as in the third. However, I feel that the overall plot, as well as the twists, make the movies very enjoyable to watch.

I just watched the entire 4 seasons of Redvs.Blue, and now I have a pocketfull of pointless jokes. Chupathingy! Also, Bob&Steve the spliter cell agents rule.

I disagree. I felt that the third didn't have as good a twist as the first two did .

Saw = porn for the gorelover, I've explained myself several times somewhere on this board. Buckethead should disassociate himself from it asap.

Saw pretty much spells the newage city hillbilly. Ahyuck love Hostel!

Please. You can say that about pretty much any horror movie. They're all purposely filled with gore and random, nonsensical violence for a reason: it appeals to their audience.

I didn't only like the Saw series for the gore factor. I mainly liked the series because it was much different from the horror flicks I've seen before. The story itself is a relatively good one, and the plot twists make it quite interesting to watch, as, in my opinion, you honestly never see them coming.

If I was looking to watch a movie mainly to see some blood and gore, Saw would probably be one of the last one's I'd watch. I mean, the first one has only one disturbing scene, and that's near the end of the film. So much for porn for the gorelover. There are gorier films out there.

Eh, Hostel didn't even really have a story. It just went from porn, to gore, to what-the-hell ending. I really imagined it being much better.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Pure horror = pissing shit on a cuntstick.

I'm not denying there are, but it certainly mainstream'd the trend.

Watching Saw for things other than gore... That's just like watching pornography for it's lighting. Heh.

So much for intellectual horror movie fans.

Well, I wasn't watching Saw for the gore. I was watching it because it was much different from any other horror films out there.

What's more, I'm not a horror film fan. I gave up on that genre a long time ago. None of their films have ever instilled the fear I so desire. None of them have evered deeply disturbed me that way I want to be disturbed. It's really a shame. That genre is a mere shell of what it once was. It's all shitty remakes of the "classics" and ton's-o'-gore-without-a-story movies now. That department has gone to shit, and it really is a shame.

Ya, Horror films mostly suck now. They don't seem to know how to disturb people in a new way. My favorite kinds of movies are comedies (the dark, witty, and stupid ones.) Weird stuff like Monty Python, and I like the stupid movie Freddy Got Fingered that Tom Green was in. I don't know, I just think Tom Green is hilarious when he messes with people, kind of like Borat

I like some action movies, but weird oddball ones like the Tarintino movies, and A Clockwork Orange kind of stuff.

I watched Shaun of The Dead today, and I think it's pretty funny. I mean, it's got gore for whomever may enjoy that, but the comedy of it all is pretty hilarious...

I just finished watching Munich last night on my Ipod. It was a very powerful movie. It really makes you wonder why no one sees that all this senseless violence around us will never get us anywhere.

It's fine to bring up as long as you also include the commentary (ie what you thought of it, any other discussion). You're original post merely said that you'd watched it, which is not contributing at all.

I watched alot of movies this week that I forgot to post on here. They were:

Borat - A hysterical film. I thought that it wouldn't be as funny the second time around, but I couldnt be more wrong. I was in hysterics.

Fresh - This was a movie about a young boy who was worked for drug dealers in Queens. One day, he plots his revenge, as he one of them accidentally kills the girl he was extremely fond of, and the other uses his sister's addiction for crack to get her into bed with him. His plot was quite clever, incorporating the boy's mastery of chess to "checkmate" each of the drug lords.

The Longest Yard - I just watched this last night. It was alright, although I don't really understand why it was considered a comedy. There wasn't much humor throughout it, and a majority of the movie was football-based. Sandler's movies really are straying from the original genre he chose to be in.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle - I was hesitant to watch this film for awhile, sicne I thought it was jutst another one of those movies that dim-witted teenagers and fratboys were obsessed with, but after I found out that my girlfriend found it hysterical, I simply had to see what it was all about. I couldn't have been more wrong about the movie. It was hysterical. My side was honestly killing me by the time it was over. This is definitely a movie I'll be watching over and over again.

There were a few more, but I just can't remember them at the moment. I'll probably just edit this post when I remember 'em.

I recently watched "Barnyard." I thought it was pretty funny, and had a good message, but what still bugs me is that the male cows have utters. I understand why, so that little kids know they are cows and not something else, but still. Bugged me....

Good movie though.

Good movie for kids, but when you're mature enough to see it differently, it's like the equivalent to the aftermath of taking crack.
