oh crikey. dear me. that is awesome, my friend, and i don't say 'awesome' often. you even put in the scars! in the right places! oh sweet. i have just this minute saved it and set it as my desktop background. its so surreal seeing artwork for my fanfiction, and i am pleased you enjoyed the story; its my favourite, despite the grammar (seeing as i was 2 years younger than i am now when i wrote it).

you have no idea how many sketches I drew of Nox and I never could find a decent pose xD the stupid rifle was always in the way xD *can't draw the darn things* xD
i was a little inspired by the covers of "flags of our fathers" and "Saving Private Ryan" and the original picture has also the letters D&M between Nox and the ...uhm "reflection" of him since the D&M war was the reason for his split personality but it didn't look good so i put them out again xD

@Splat thank you! ^^ when you read the first few chapters you'll never guess what is going to happen in the middle/end of the story! 8D

and yup there's more.. mainly because i want to learn to bring out certain characteristics of the persons /things I draw... If i draw my own characters and they turn out different than I wanted them to be I say ah well doesn't matter but like this I'm forced to concentrate on what I want to show the people who see the drawing... if i really want to start drawing RS as a graphic novel i need to leanr such things...

thats also why i joined the writing competition... i want to find out if it's better to draw or to write my fanfiction xD

...reminds me of my story I should continue it before it is erased from the peoples brains completely xD

and... i have made a few sketches but decided to not upload them yet...

well this is just one of the drawings i had to do for art class and after such a long time [i actually forgot how long ^^;] our teacher returned our drawings to us today finally!!! n__n

we were allowed to draw... sculpt... etc...what ever we like and I've chosen to draw a Cyborg Mudokon with Copic markers

Cool; I like the mix of technology and wildlife, the machine moving smoothly out of the plants. I think the... softer tones of the machine stop it from clashing with the plants so it seems more of a union than a conflict, which is pretty cool

The mudokon is cool, too; again, the mix of the metal parts with the tribal rings.

Man, I used the word 'cool' far too many times up there; I need more things to say...

..it made a lot of fun to draw her especially the fur and the shading ^:^

(i like the sketch a lot more though... i messed up the colouring/shading (you can see it if you fullview), it's the first time i tried cell shading and I'm not good at drawing outlines with the mouse ^^;

I want a wacom cintiq

edit: i think it's the hair xD now when i look at it... xD i think I'll redraw her hair when I'm better at cell shading ^^

The sketch looks playful, while the coloured version has a dangerous sort of 'I'm going to eat you' look

. It's amazing how just a subtle change in the amount of visible pupil can affect it so much! I like how the blocky, cartoony colour contrasts with the shaded background.

I'm just sorry to say that Dryadri recently mentioned to me that she had redesigned dryadri feet.

But I like it; both versions look great

yesterday i noticed on the forum that it's Splat's birthday xD and so i finnished an animation that i wanted to finnish a long time ago actually but somehow always had other things to do (you also can see it in the frames Dionysia and Stivik have much more details than than anni ...)
I also wanted to include Emlech but he ended up as a ...sketch... Vykkers are creepy!!!

And the animation is amazing, all the better for it's unexpectedness! Dionysia looks really great, really beautiful and lonely and dangerous

it's actually the first time I drew a sketch of a Vykker, thanx to MO i had enough references xD but ever since you said he talked to himself in that scene I wanted to put that image on paper somehow ... i planned to turn the one on the right into a reflection of some sort, perhaps on a window or whatever... but meh >_>; I'm too lazy xD

the characacter in my sketch is my favorite, he's better than Scar and Ramón together, he's a really good Slig, and he's very naive and young but nice and friendly, i don't want to reveal too much, and this is the only picture I will upload of him. (Sorry for the craptasticness xD it's just a brief sketch to remind me of the scene in the comic)

ah and don#t worry ...if I ever draw an OW comic/manga thingy... all the characters will be 100% Oddworld creatures and not humans... even though i like to draw humans... but it wouldn#t be Odd enough if they were humans...

Ramón in human form (his eyes have 3 pupils so they are a little different xD)

and the girl is Seven [the mudokon girl, remember anyone?... no... well it doesn't matter ^-^] oh and she's still very young in that picture...
and she's desperated because she had been captured by some slave traders on the black market... there are a lot of mistakes etc...

but i haven#t uploaded anything for such a long time and I'm busy with drawing birthday art for so many people (why is is that everyone I know has their birthday when i have my exams? xD)

Any Oddworld comic by you I imagine would look fairly awesome.

Also, Riftryu's comic.... *sniff*

I do often think about how demonised sligs are in the series; I mean ok, they're mean and stupid, but it was their upbringing that made 'em like that and Abe does kill tons of them without a second thought. It's kinda sad that they've become victims between mudokons and glukkons, and I think it's a flaw in Abe's character that he thinks of sligs pretty much how sligs think of mudokons. (A lot of that went into the argument between Stivik and Anni in the last chapter of TD.)
