The reason haiku's sound like shit is because they were designed for another language, Japanese. It doesn't even make sense to write a haiku in English as the alphabet and syllables are entirely different.

I hate what they did to Moneybags' voice in Spyro 3 so much. I'l be honest, it's part of the reason I've barely played that game.

Mostly because I didn't have it as a kid though, unlike the first 2.
