Pictures of Zoe and Dryadri are good... Yeah, I think the dancing one is a bit short, her head a bit oversized for her body, but still cool. Good to see her actually having a good time

There are many things wrong with the dancing one, her head is huge, her body is short and her arms (although unfinished) are scrawny DX Well I guess it'd be very unoriginal to have her miserable all the time

Zoe is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!~ The Female Glukkon, Slig, and Intern are all...sexy. I'm not like that though..hehe.

I'm not dead I swear. I just haven't had the time to do anything worthwhile in a while, studying has taken over.

I haven't drawn anything odd in ages, there's a few sketches lying around my bedroom floor, but until my scanner decides to work again that's where they'll stay. Since my other thread doesn't get a lot of attention I'll post a few things here.

First is a student girl I made up, who I plan to carry on drawing.
There's Mona Lisa, from the original toon of TMNT.
Vyvyan from The Young Ones, which I have been watching hell of a lot along with The Comic Strip.

Thank you Although the girl was done completely on my newer program Paint Tool SAI, much cheaper than Photoshop and though it's less advanced, it's much better for digital artists

Amazin' stuff. Although I love rats, the idea of a girl with a rat's tail is... uh... creepy. But incredibly drawn, all of it. Well done.

EDIT: oh, and I always thought Vyvyan rocked. I distinctly remember the time his head got knocked off when he stuck it out the train window whilst travelling through a tunnel.

Zoe has made a return though, she's changed a little since the last time I drew her. It's been almost a year since I first created her! The left image is stylised...she's skinny, but not that much, if she was I doubt she'd be able to stand.

Great pictures of Zoe; I think her face has become more... real looking. She looks cool. And the picture of her up the tree with the moon in the background is good; I think that would look really cool as a sunset too, but it's your picture; t'would be cool to see it coloured one day

Others are good drawings, too; Jez has cool hair!

Thanks as always. I'm thinking of doing three versions of the tree sketch if I find time. My main priority being the silhouette midnight one, but I would like to do a silhouette sunset version and a non-silhouette daytime version. Should be interesting as to which turns out the best.

Dryadri are spiritual creatures, they believe in a monster that takes the form of a Dryad worker only with 'alterations'. It's eyes are seen only as large circular holes or glowing white orbs. It's hands are bigger than it's face and it's ripped smile spreads from ear to ear.

Oh yeah. I've liked them since 2003 and only just now have started to draw them. I love 2D...but it's really hard to pick a favourite.

If I can find some black contact lenses he'll be my fancy dress costume of choice. Though oddly enough I actually look quite like Murdoc - unhealthy skin, irregular fingernails, slicked-back hair, fat broken nose, pointy teeth, saggy eyes, wears a lot of black... Actually, is it even worth the trouble of trying to look like 2-D when I basically look like Murdoc as it is?

I like the tears of blood; it's a cool character idea. And the 'Killer' one is good; reminds me a bit of your competition entry. Ectoplasm is very snazzy looking

I dunno, it all looks good. The Dryad is... kinda creepy And the flying ship and giant tap is very cool, very surreal, dream-like.

The other one wouldn't load for some reason.

Hey, let's revive this thread. I'm alive. So it's been just over a year since I last visited and thanks to Splat, I'm updating with my progress since last October

Zoe has changed quite a lot since I last posted, maybe not as much physically, but her story is more developed...


- I finished a sketch from September '10 of Zoe and her intern buddy Nye. I also did a character development of the time and when I first created her. I sucked. She's also had a little bit of a style change. I've put much more effort into her race and their anatomy and ways of life.

- A lot of work has gone into my Jez character, you probably don't remember her. Furry rat thing. She's now a human girl with mental issues, living in a city controlled by government. She has hallucinations, migraines, sicknesses and is convinced there is a demonic parasite living inside her.

HOORAY! You're back! And wow, picture overload! And gosh, I just shaved and my face is really itchy argh argh argh.

There's a bit too much to comment on it all (plus I looked at it a while ago and got distracted before writing this post) but your art really has improved a lot over the year; your skills are really showing now! I love the imagination that's gone into the characters and their stories, and it'd be great to see/hear more!
