Well I was personally desapointed in Munch (never played the other prior games). I'd categorise MO as an Platformer/puzzle game myself. No real strategy, but rather more puzzle solving. You had to think often on how to save those scrubs at times.
As for the RPg Idea I gave, if you don't like the final fantasy system, we could still go along something more similar to Baldur's gate on PC, or NeverWinter Nights, again on PC. Or a system closer to what Bioware (who made baldur's gate and neverwinter nights) will do with the soon to come on xbox : Starwars: Knights of the old republic. It would be fun to see a party formed of Abe, Munch, a Mudoken's shaman and a slig traveling togheter to solve a mystery/save more scrubs...
Oh also, there was one thing I was a little desapointed by munch. When I first bought the game, it says that both abe and munch could play in cooperation togheter. It wasn't wrong, but I would have liked it if 2 people could have played the game togheter, one controlling abe, the other munch. I say this because I think Oddworld would have been perfect to get my wife to play with me, although she doesn't like to play alone, and doesn't have the patience to go alone in the game as she isn't quite skilled with videogames. I know we talked about genre changes for the next oddworld, but even if it was still a platformer/puzzle game I'd buy it right away. but if they could include a 2 players mode, simultaniously or one after the other, I think it would be a great plus to the next game.
