I think my first forum was G-Project back in 1999. Looking back, it had a very awkward interface. Sadly, it went kaboom thanks to repeated raids back in 2002 or 2003.

I remember something here, that before I got an account I had to have a DA account, which my parents wouldn't let me have until I was twelve. So...yeah.

I lost my imagination about a few months ago. The internet is all I have.

On topic, I went back to that SH forum to lurk some more, and The most visited thread was "What's your favorite monster". This consisted of annoying fangirls debating over fucking Vatiel or Pyramid Head. I left the thread and died a little more inside.

Hmm, no. I broused for a while and found nothing. However, I did find a fun thing to draw.

Checked back on the "favorite monster" thread on the SH forum, and the only new comment that wasn't fangirls arguing was a guy who said "I LIEK NURSES DEY HAVE BEWBS". At this point, I'm not sure why I'm checking in on them. Morbid Curiosity, I guess.

Besides this one I go to the Something Awful Forums. It's pretty much the birthplace of everything stupid in the internet (4chan, :awesome:, ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny....etc.). You have to pay 10 bucks to get an account, but it's pretty wide and varied, there's a subforum for any hobby and each subforum has it's own huge userbase. The 10 dollar deposit sounds stupid, but it's a really good way of weeding out the stupid people.

It also has a feature that I think every forum should have, and that's the "Read last unread post" button which not only takes you to such a post but also tells you how far behind in posts you are in a thread. God it's so useful

If you just click the thread title here and not a page number, it takes you to the last unread post. Im also fairly sure its just a shitty version of 4chan, but you have to pay to use it! Considering the mods could ban you if they were in a bad mood anyways, the whole thing just sounds awful.

Nah it's not as hardcore as people say, some mods are shitty but none will ban over a bad mood. I will be the first to say, there are a fair amoun of bad people on SA, but so that's the case with every bigforum. Personally, i don't like the look and feel of 4chan, and i've met and have a lot of friends that post on SA so it's a great place for me.
