Sure, your people may have invented English, but you yourself are butchering it by not using proper grammar, my friend .

Don't pin the blame on one country, every country does it.

Not really. Every country has slang, and that is a form of butchering a language.

Therefore, every country butchers their language .

But only Americans have the gall to claim that they've reinvented the language as something new, called "American". I almost choked the first time I heard someone say that.

In the interest of pedantry, one difference can be safely ignored, no matter how irritating it can be be those who would care. The season we British call Autumn is referred to as Fall by Americans, which, obviously, comes from "the Fall of the leaves". I hear tell that tis was invented by the Americans, bu this is not so. Autumn, from the latin autumni, was the term used in English for centuries. Then, as the inevitable drift of the language continued, if was replaced by Fall. After this replacement, the English first colonised America.

In the 1800s, in Britain, Autumn came back into vogue, and soon "re-replaced" Fall, whilst it remained as such in the States.

That happens to me all the time. Even though I live in the US (unfortunately), I'm used to spelling the words like "colour" or "favourite" or "centre". And then I get told that I spelled them wrong. Americans just wanted to prove to everyone that they weren't English, huh?

I have something new to complain about:
My entire history class has to read this ole book about Lewis & Clark or summat. We checked it out from the library at the beginning of the school year, and there was supposed to be an open-notes test on it on the 9th of January. I, being the Queen of Procrastination, didn't pick up the book until about a week ago, did about 35 pages, and left it.

The day before yesterday though, I said to myself, shit I'm really gonna die if I don't start reading it soon. So, right after I came back from school, I started reading and taking notes, and so nonstop resolutely plowed through exactly 214 pages of fine print on my least favourite subject, and managed to wrap up at about half past midnight.

And then...surprise! On the day of the test, i.e., yesterday, I got a cold and didn't go to school.

I still don't know if I can make it up.

lol, you could just ignore them. If they were smart they would know Color and Colour ARE spelled correctly both ways. It's like Semi-English. But anyway, I hate how people in a group or something make up words and when they speak you have no idea what they are talking about..

I am completely ticked because my College Now course ended while I was in Poland. I didn't take the final, so now I don't even know if I passed. This is just what I need, another college course I've had problems with. My douche of a Psychology teacher screwed me over too. He didn't send me my final exam when I told him to do so, so that I'd be able to take it before I left. I gave him my e-mail, and everything and he didn't send it. Plus, he sent me the study guide a couple of days before, so I know he has my e-mail.

A-hole.

Something that ticks me off has do deal with stupid people yet again. When they bump into you in the hallways on purpose, or when they say things to make them look tough. Enough said.

And on the topic of English vs. American, if someone were to spell something different than I, I don't frankly give a crap. and yes, we as Americans tend to butcher many things.

Not so much stupid people as in mental or braindamaged, but those whom act stupid to get attention or act stupid so they don't have to do things or so that people don't expect a lot from them.
Basically stupid people without an excuse who use it to their advantage.

Another thing is when people have no people skills what-so-ever and rude people. I was trying to get home form school and we stopped to pick up another family member from school and a whole line of jack-holes pop up and cut us off when we are trying to get onto the road. I'm sure they could see us sitting there with our blinker on, but no... they drive a better car so they get to go first. *rolls eyes and puts hand to forehead.*

I didn't mean mental or braindamaged people. I meant people who act stupid. I just like to call 'em stupid people, since it's easier.

I hate rude people as well. As a matter of fact, anyone who acts rudely towards me or anyone else, perturbs me to no end. I just want to harm them severely. Certain people just need some manners, I swear.

^ Sure, let them kill themselves.

I also hate teh stupid people. So annoying, last year in Pre-AP Science, we had this girl, who I shall call dumb-dumb. Dumb-dumb always had to ask questions, she would never stop. She shouldn't of been in a Pre-AP period. She would never get anything, and the teacher(Who was an A-Hole and knew it) had to explain it over and over. The time it took for dumb-dumb to grasp a concept was astounding. Here is a quote, form Dumb-Dumb

Teacher:See, this *Something that I wasn't oaying attention to* may damage your breast bone.
Dumb-Dumb:Guys have that too!?

Honestly.

This just really gets my goat v

sometimes you just wish you could stuff people in a cage too small for them, maybe bang it around a bit too, do the same nasty things to them that they had been doing to their "pets".

like the time when this guy "adopted" a couple of rats from a rescue. well, anyone who has been owned by more than one rat knows that whenever new rats are introduced, they have to decide pecking order. and part of that can sometimes be humping, even tho they are same gender.

well this guy didn't like how much one of the rats was doing it to the other, and decided to "teach" that rat a lesson... by jamming a sharpie sized marker where it didn't belong. he proceded to tell the adoption place that he didn't like how the rats were acting all "gay" and that the one rat was bleeding from 'down there'. when they stopped by to check on the rat, they knew immediately that the guy had done something horrible to the rat and they removed both rats from his residence.

a vet visit revealed everything, and they had to give the poor boy daily enimas for more than a month, until his body healed down there, and he was adopted shortly after by a very loving mom who gave him the love he deserved.

aw geeze. i didn't mean to ramble on like this. if you made it this far... wow.

So am I. What I don't understand is why those idiots don't just stay at whatever place they were drinking at, or call a cab. What makes them think they'll make it home just fine when they're completely intoxicated?

The fact that some dunces actually think that driving drunk is fine, and should not be illegal, angers me even more. What the hell is wrong with this generation?

If I hear "Hey, Statikk, get some bleach water and the mop over here!" one more ****ing time on a Saturday night party I'm going apeshit.

I hate that too! People tend to stop right smack dab in the middle of the hallway in my school, and they don't move, no matter what you might say. It angers me so much! They have absolutely no consideration for others, I swear.

...And when they walk in "delta formation" as I call it. They walk in a triangle and continue to do so as if they are the only ones in the hallway.

And especially when a bunch of them walk in a line. No, not follow the leader style. Stand right next to the leader and all their cronies so you can't walk around them. [/bitching about hallways]

Another thing that makes me mad, is why people talk on the phone so much, what is there to talk about? ... I don't see much of anything to talk about..

If a freaking pencil fell off of a desk it would be all over the tri state county in an hour.

Well, sometimes there is alot of stuff to talk about. It just all depends on the person you're talking to. Take me for example. I usually talk from 5-8 hours on the phone with my girlfriend, and we never run out of stuff to talk about .

Something that ticks me off is when people excessively text to one another during school. It gets annoying quickly. there are some times that I wish I had a cellphone destruct button. Oh what fun times to be had by all...(mostly me.)
