I lived for OWF back in the day. So much laughter was had on these boards, and it was great to feel part of a real fan community. Personally and professionally I actually owe a lot to OWF. It's funny to think how long some of us have been in each-others lives now, and the impact some of us have had on each-other.

Thanks for giving me an escape throughout my school years. Also, thanks for giving me friends throughout my school years.

i did some ye olden thread rereads and it made me realize just how bad i was at communicating tone as a sloglet. but, to be fair, text is very difficult to communicate tone through, so before we go out i do wanna let most of yall ive clashed with know i didnt mean to be a dick and i think most of yall are genuinely cool people who left a lasting impact on me for the better

also was neat/cringe to see how low i was mentally at one point here and how i steadily grew out of that. saw it in a lot of other ppl i retain contact with off forums, so thats rad

but i also still stand by all my gripes over the direction oddworld seemed to be taking as nnt revealed more about itself and the future of oddworld

I first started posting here when I was literally eleven years old. In hindsight the fact that normal people were taking time out of their day to read, consider, and then chastise my absurd childhood thoughts makes me feel good and kind of powerful.
