Lots of post-war immigration to Australia from all of Europe due to government policies aimed at increasing the population. Lots of Greek people wanting to get out in the 40s and 50s. I'm not sure of any detail beyond that.

Nate is accurate about the post-war immigration to Australia, both sides of my family hail from Europe, though my Father was actually born here.

I don't live in suburbs that contain majority greeks, however there is a great Fish n Chip shop near me that is Greek.
