Okay, so the company who made Evangelion and FLCL have made a new show.
It's called Panty and Stocking. It's about Panty and Stocking, two Angel sisters who come down from Heaven to hunt monster ghosts. They do this by turning a pair of panties into a gun (Panty) and a stocking into a sword (Stocking). They swear a lot, shoot shit, and fight disgusting monsters. The entire show is basically using a Cartoon Network stylized powerpuff-girls style, and it uses a lot of CN motifs. However it is way way nastier, cooler, and more fun.
Not to mention absolutely beautiful animation.
